GlobalProtect Installation Procedures For Business Partners
***Please ensure that you coordinate this installation with your company's IT
department***
Device Requirements :-
In order to be allowed to access Colgate's Internal networks as well as Colgate's Okta and
Google services. Your device will need to satisfy the following requirements:
1. Anti-malware is installed with real time protection enabled and the virus definition
needs to be no more than five days old
2. Apple Gatekeeper and Basic Windows Defender are not valid anti-malware

Any OS or anti-malware not expressly mentioned above are not supported to access
Colgate's network.

Installation for Windows :-
You will be prompted to log into Colgate's Okta, please use your Colgate provided BP
account

This will open a new tab with the below options. Select the Windows option that is
appropriate for your device:
When the agent is downloaded, run the installer with Administrator privileges.

After the installation completes, reboot the laptop to ensure the registry changes are
done properly.
If you're currently using AnyConnect, quit (not simply disconnect) from it via the system
tray by right clicking on the agent and selecting 'Quit':

You will be presented by the following screen. Click on 'Get Started':
In the empty box enter cp-vpn.colpal.com as shown exactly and then click on Connect:
NOTE: The above is a FQDN, not a URL: it does not use the 'https://' or 'www.'

The agent will now start to connect:
You will be prompted to log into Colgate's Okta, please use your Colgate provided BP
account
NOTE: The gateway shown in the agent's window is dependent upon where you are
physically located

Installation for MacOS :-
You will be prompted to log into Colgate's Okta, please use your Colgate provided BP
account

This will open a new tab with the below options. Select the option Download Mac 32/64
bit GlobalProtect agent.
NOTE: This installer supports both Intel and ARM based chipsets.
**NOTE: The agent will need to be installed with Administrator level privileges**
Important: There will be a series of prompts giving the agent permissions it requires
please ensure to follow the below as shown or the agent could face issues after the install
is completed

Select both GlobalProtect and GlobalProtect System Extensions options and then click
Continue:

If you see any of the following prompts, or something similar, please ensure to "Allow":
**NOTE: The below screenshots are from MacOS Catalina and may not match what you
see exactly. Please follow the steps that similar for your particular version of MacOS**
Click on the lock on the lower left corner and authenticate using your MacOS
Administrator username and password:
The installation will continue, if there are any other prompts please provide the
application the permissions it needs to function properly:

Once all of the above steps are complete, you'll receive the following and can safely click
on 'Close':
After a successful installation, please reboot the Mac to ensure that all kernel changes are
completed properly.
After the reboot, you'll see the icon for the GlobalProtect agent in the Menu Bar as shown:

Clicking on the agent will present you with following screen. Click on Get Started:
If you see the below error, click away from the agent's GUI, and then click on the agent
icon again

In the empty box enter cp-vpn.colpal.com as shown exactly and then click on Connect:

NOTE: You may receive further MacOS prompts asking for permissions after connecting
for the first time, if you do, then please provide the agent with access by clicking on
Allow:
You will be prompted to log into Colgate's Okta, please use your Colgate provided BP

After this, the agent will display that it is connected
