1. There are 4 main fire extinguisher types – Water, Foam, Dry Powder, CO2. You should have the right
types of fire extinguisher for your premises. You will need to make sure that you have the right size/
weight and type of fire extinguisher
The fire risk from the different classes of fire will determine which fire Extinguisher types you need.

– Class A fires – combustible materials: caused by flammable solids, such as wood, paper
– Class B fires – flammable liquids: such as petrol, turpentine or paint
– Class C fires – flammable gases: like hydrogen, butane
– Class D fires – combustible metals: lithium, magnesium, aluminium or potassium
– Class E fires – electrical equipment: plug, electric board

ENG 2. Using the fire extinguisher

a. pull out the pin / ring

b. press the lever - The approach to the fire must be in the direction of wind;
Press the actuator lever; Discharge of the extinguishing agent is done to the base
of the flames
c. unload - Alternate the left-to-right discharge movement

In case of Emergency call 112 and give precise information Fire extinguisher must be loaded and verified
according to Romanian Legislation

1. Exista 4 tipuri importante de stingatoare : Apa, Spuma mecanica,Pulbere, C02.Trebuie sa aveti tipul
corespunzator de stingator in functie de conditiile de incendiu. De asemenea trebuie sa aveti
dimensiunea/greutatea si tipul corespunzator de stingator
In functie de riscul de incendiu avem clase de incendiu ceea ce determina necesitatea anumitor tipuri de
stingatoare
- Clasa A – materiale solide: lemn, hartie,
- Clasa B –lichide inflamabile/combustibile: petrol, vopsea
- Clasa C- gaze inflamabile: hydrogen, butan
- Clasa D – metale combustibile: litiu, magneziu, aluminiu sau potasiu
- Clasa E – instalatii/echipamente electrice: priza, tablou electric
RO 2. Utilizarea stingatorului

a. Scoateti cuiul/inelul de siguranta

b. Apasati clapeta. Apropierea de focar se face din direcţia curenţilor de aer sau a vântului; Se apasă
pârghia de acţionare; Refularea agentului de stingere se face la baza flăcărilor.
c. Descarcati- Alternati miscarile stanga- dreapta la descarcare

In caz de Urgenta sunati la 112 si dati informatii precise. Stingatoarele trebuie sa fie incarcate si verificate
conform Legislatiei in vigoare
