Trouble Code Diagnostics and Tests NOTE: Wiring schematic shows OEM engine applications only. For non-OEM engine wiring information, see APPLICATION ‘SPECIFICATIONS in Section 06, Group 210 of this manual. Analog Throttle Position Sensor ‘+ The analog throttle position sensor is a variable resistor (potentiometer) used to measure the position Of the throttle. The throttle input voltage normally varies between 1.0 and 4.0 volts depending on throttle postion. Analog throttle voltage at low idle will be approximately 1.0 volt and 4.0 vols at high idle. The ECU has the ability to lear different voltages for low and high idle, so the voltage range may change pet application. This code will set Level 12 ECU - T4 - Analog Throttle (A) input Low oomza>= com nOAOmzZz00 zlsiele[s| O|slelelele ‘+ The analog throttle (A) input voltage goes below the ‘sensor's low voltage spectication. The voltage is lower than what is physically possible for the throttle lever to achieve. = For OEM applications, the low analog throttle (A) input voltage specification is 0.3 volts. — For non-OEM applications, see APPLICATION ‘SPECIFICATIONS in Section 08, Group 210 of this manual for the low analog throttle (A) input votage specification. If this code sets, the following will occur: ‘+ I more than one throttle is available, the ECU will ignore the input from the analog throttle, and will use. the input values from another throttle. ‘+ Il the analog throttle is the only throttle or all ‘additional throttles are also faulted, the ECU will use ‘a default ‘limp-home" throttle value that will only ‘allow idle engine speed.
