The Value of Financial Support for Art

Music, Sports, and Arts, all of these activities push us to think creatively and help us improve
our knowledge, concentration, and intelligence while doing so. However, when considering
the needs of an extra financial support from the government, it is important to be obiective
about which one really need the suooprt.

In this essay, I will explore the significance of art and music education and prove why these
courses need an extra financial support from the government.

Art helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills,
decision-making, risk-taking, and it encourage them to be creative. Visual arts teach learners
about color, layout, perspective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in academic
work. By investing in art education, the government can help create a generation of artists,
designers, and creative professionals who contribute to economic growth and prepare the
children for their grown up life.

Research shows that music training boosts IQ, focus and persistence. The value of
incorporating music into a child's education can not beunderestimated. There are a lot of
incontestable researchs showing that an education where music is involve, improves student’s
cognitive function and academic performance. By investing in music education, the
government invests in developement of new skills such as perseverance, teamwork, and
discipline for the young generation. By supporting the music programes, government can
increase the music industry.

However, I think the one how really needs financial support is art. I ussually hear about
concerts organised by schools or volunteering organisations, but I never heard about an art
gallery made up to support the young artists.
