The rooms will be allotted by the hostel supervisor/wardens of Hostel-J, + The above students are required to submit to the hostel supervisor the following documents before possession of rooms: (i) duly filled up hostel allotment form, (ii) photocopy of the institute identity card, (iii) two colour passport size photographs, (iv) photocopies of all fee receipts of autumn and spring semesters 2023-24. Apart from tuition fee, the above students are required to deposit hostel fee of Rs. 15000 and mess fee of Rs.17000 for spring semester 2023-24, The hostel fee and mess fee will be raised against their roll nos. In case of any doubt related to fee, they may contact Sri Nitesh Kumar, Accountant in the administrative block. + The M.Tech (boys) 1" year students are allotted rooms in the hostel on double sharing basis. They will be allotted single rooms as and when it is made available. + Those who are not willing to join hosteFshould submit appli the office of the chief warden or should send mail to the undersigned at chiefwarden@nitjsr.ac.in by 31-12-2023. + The regular mess for the hostellers will start from 02-01-2024 for spring semester 2023-24. Mega mess is designated for the students of hostels-J&K. * All non-hostellers are not allowed to stay or enter in any of the hostels or to take meals in any regular mess. However, their meals can be arranged on request in one of the messes on payment basis. + Non-hostellers are required to obtain a certificate from the office of the Chief Warden to be submitted at the registration desk at the time of registration of Spring Semester 2023-24. Non-hostellers are not required to pay hostel fee or mess fee.
