Receptionist: Good morning, ma’am. How may I help you?

Sarah Green: Good morning. Yes, I’d like to reserve a single room, please.
Receptionist: Certainly, ma’am. When for?
Sarah Green: For Monday, the first of June.
Receptionist: I’m sorry, we don’t have any single rooms available on that night.
But we have a double room free.
Sarah Green: Okay, then I’ll have a double.
Receptionist: And for how many nights?
Sarah Green: Three nights, please.
Receptionist: Three nights, that’s fine. May I have your name please, ma’am?
Sarah Green: Yes, my name is Sarah Green, but the room is for a Mr. Reichmann.
Receptionist: Could you spell that for me, please?
Sarah Green: Certainly — R-E-I-C-H-M-A-N-N.
Receptionist: Is that a German name?
Sarah Green: Yes, he’s one of our company’s clients in Berlin. He’s visiting New
York for the first time.
Receptionist: Okay. And what time will he be arriving?
Sarah Green: He’s arriving at the airport at 10:00 in the morning, so he’ll be at the
hotel by 11:00, I guess.
Receptionist: So, a double room on the first, for 3 nights. That’s fine. How would
you like to pay?
Sarah Green: If you can bill it to my company…Here are the details…
