The Christmas Cantata presented by the Fort Baptist Church commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. It begins with two angels announcing the miraculous birth in Bethlehem, where Mary and Joseph found no room at the inns. Through singing and decorations, the church hopes to please God in heaven. The cantata tells the story of Jesus' birth, life teaching the word of God, death on the cross to save humanity from sin, and promise of eternal life in heaven for those who accept his gift of salvation. It concludes with a call to accept this greatest gift and proclaim joy to the world.
