A Special Time That I and Family Had Together

A very exceptional time I and my family had together was our travel to Mexico.

The first bit of Mexican land, that I spotted, was dotted with numerous Coconut Palms. As I

exited the plane, I felt absolutely sweltering. Being the first time beyond my home continent,

I instantly noticed the untold ambience of the place that would be my vacation for the next 2

weeks.

The territory of our resort would be absolutely massive. Just to get to the dining room,

we would need to take a buggy across nearly the entire resort which was ludicrous. Living

there felt like being in an absolute wilderness of tropical forests. Across my family’s dwelling

was a hissing river. Supposedly, the river was a home for crocodiles, however, there was no

sign such menace resided next to our home. The respectable thing about the place was that

the environment was kept immaculately tidy. Roaming, majorly secluded while uncluttered,

pathways was a miracle on earth.

The beach was overlapped by unstained, radiant sand. The thatched umbrellas sticked

out the ground, making that iconic view of a Caribbean beach which travel agencies decorate

their photo cards with. The integral part of any resort strand is a bar because it fuels the

dehydrated vacationers. Not to mention, Cancun has one of the most gleaming waters I have

ever seen. In addition to that, water, possessed in The Caribbean Basin, is extremely high in

salinity, so that you could basically float on your back without sinking.

Other than gleaming beaches, Mexico is thought to have rich, if not the richest,

history of any country. A quintessential landmark of Mexico is Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is

an all-out sacred city that was built by Maya ages ago. The main square of the city was a

place for rituals, fostered by the ancient gods and beliefs of Maya. The Pyramid of Chichen

Itza is an impenetrable structure, made of cobblestone. The ambience of the place is intense.

As during the era of Maya, human sacrifices would be carried out on top of the paramount

pyramid in the name of God.
