Bureaucratic control:
An approach to designing control systems that emphasizes organizational
authority and relies on administrative rules-regulation-procedures-policies-
standardization of activities & other administrative mechanisms to ensures
that employees exhibit appropriate behaviors and meet performance
standards

Clan Control:

An approach to designing control systems in which employee behaviors are


regulated by the shared values, norms, traditions ,rituals, beliefs & other
aspects of the organizations culture

Control Process:
The process of measuring actual performance, comparing it against a
standard and taking managerial action to correct deviations or inadequate
standards.
