and of real events.

➢ Biography is “as stimulating as a short story, as
absorbingly dramatic as a play, as exciting as a novel,
and as thought-provoking as an essay.”
➢ The value of a biography depends on the biographer’s
attitude towards his or her subject and the purpose for
writing it.

them without extenuation or glorification.
