Scene 1

Narrator: Jim and his mother run an inn. They haven't had any
customers in days. One day a strange man enters the shop. His name
is Billy bones. Billy bones enters the inn half drenched and with a
chest.
Billy: (screaming ) anybody here anybody (knocks on the door )
anybody
Jim: Yes sir , how may I help you ?(opens the door)
Billy: Well for starters just get me a glass of rum .
Jim : sure sir
Billy : ahh .. now this is something (drinking)and do get any
customers here , not many folks around these parts ??
Jim : No sir , just my mother . who is upstairs ,
Billy Bones: Seen any strange men around here.
Jim Hawkins: No, sir. Not many come around here.
Billy Bones: That's great. If you ever see a man with one leg or a
blind man with this scar then tell me.
Jim : Yes , Sir .
Billy : Arggg ! that sir ,sir, sir , call me captain
Jim Hawkins: Umm yes sir- I mean captain.
Jim Hawkins: Yes, captain.
Billy bones: Your name be?
Jim Hawkins: My name is Jim Hawkins Captain.
Narrator: Jim leads Billy to a room that billy can stay, billy is really
drunk and asks for rum
Billy bones: (HUMMING) Rum to my table now. Hurry up.
Jim: yes sir here u go your RUM
Narrator : upstairs the doctor is treating Mrs. Hawkins , the doctor
comes down to check on what is happening down .
Doctor: Innkeepers on Wilson I’d be obliged if u keep ur voice down
Billy Bones: This is England Richmond, it’s a free country. I would
drink what I like and sing what I like.
Doctor: is that so sir, well then I hope u do continue drinking rum
because if u do it’s my belief that the world will very soon be rid of
an uncontrollable rascal
Narrator: Billy gets angry immediately. He gets up, takes his sword
out from his pocket and pushes the doctor towards the wall with his
sword on the neck of the doctor.
Billy: take it back
Doctor: remove that knife this instant or I promise u, u will hang for it
.
Jim: CAPTAIN STOP!!!!!!!!!!

Narrator: Billy looks at Jim and sits down. And stares at Jim.
Billy: Rum jump!
Mother :doctor let's go outside and leave this man to do what he likes
Narrator :Once outside Mrs Hawkins and Dr.livesey start whispering.
The next day they talk to Jim.
Mother: Jim, dr.livesey AND I Are going out, take care of the inn
while we are out .
JIM:yes mother

Scene 2

Narrator: The next morning Billy went out for a walk. After a few
minutes someone came.
Black Dog: hello?. Anyone there?
Jim: Yes sir.What would you like?
Black dog : Is there anyone named billy bones?
Jim:no sir
Black dog :how about captain..
Jim :n-o sir…
Narrator : he stares at Jim for a minute but then he hears singing.and
walks to the window to see who is singing.
Billy :yo ho ho a glass of rum for me …
Black dog: aah now there he is
Narrator: black dog covers Jim's mouth, hides behind a door and waits
till Billy enters.
Billy: Jim come and pass rum.(opens the door)
Black dog: Hello! Old mate,I want to talk.
Billy: Black dog… Why have you come here? There is nothing I have
that you want.
Black dog: (Laughing)OHH! I just want business. A chat to catch up.
Narrator:Billy doesn't listen and pulls out a sword and starts a fight.
Black dog: Stop….
Billy: Get out!
Black dog:you asked for it, I will come back…
narrator : Though Billy succeeds in winning, he gets hurt and so a
doctor comes and checks him.
Doctor: He had a bad fright and collapsed as he had too much rum.
Jim get my bag here now.
Jim: Yes, doc.
Doctor: Jim,Are you afraid of BLOOD?
Jim: No doctor. Only height.
Doctor: Good! Hold this bowl.Collet his blood.
Narrator: Billy woke up after a minute or two.
Doctor: This is the problem of drinking too much RUM!
Billy: (Mumbles) Blah,blah,blah,blah…
Narrator: Later that day when Billy is about to go to sleep and Jim
was preparing dinner when he heard a knock on the door. He
wondered who would knock at the door so late in the night and as
soon as he opened the door he spotted a blind man.
Pew:Knock knock anyone there?
Pew : will any kind soul help a poor man whose eyes have been
blinded by a wicked pirate .
Jim: ummm… sure….sir
Pew : Now tell me as to which part of the country I may now be in ?
Jim : Admiral Benbow inn sir
Narrator : He catches Jim by his hand
Pew: Take me there , I need to see the Billy bones or I will break your
hand.
Jim : i feel for u sir , but he is not here
Pew : infinity sign of fear for yourself , take me to the captain once
and for all
Narrator : Though he was trembling he was loyal and hesitated but
when he found no other way out he led Pew to Billy.
Jim: Umm Captain you have a friend.
Billy: Blind Pew…
Pew: AH Billy here u go
Narrator :He hands Billy a folded paper and tells Jim to lead him out.
pew :now boy show me the way to the door
Narrator: As soon as he closes the door, Jim rushes toward Billy.
Jim : captain ARE YOU OK? you look frightened
Billy : the black spot.the black spot shows there is going to be a war.
Jim : A war, sir!
Billy : Yes.
Narrator: Jim feels sorry for Billy.
Billy: Jim y-you see that c-chest o-o-over there(stammering ) take
these k-keys and open the chest .take that m-map and leave.
Narrator: Jim takes the map, Billy's lucky blowfish, a sword and
coins, but when he turns around Billy Bones collapsed onto the floor
and died.

Scene 3

Jim: captain, captain

Narrator: Jim kneels down near Billy Bones dead body and finds a
paper.
Jim: the black spot!
Narrator: Just then, he heard the stomping of feet and immediately
rushed to the door and locked it. Then he escapes through the window
and hides behind the inn. Meanwhile the 2 pirates ransack the inn.
Crew 2: look for the chest
Crew member 1 :found it! But it is open!
Crew member 2:someone got here before us
Crew member 1 : billy is dead
Crew 2: look for flint’s map it is the most important thing and the
only one we need
Crew 1: The money is here!
Crew member 2: Yes, there's nothing’ else
Crew 1; keep searching it has got to be here
Crew2: we can keep searching all day but its not here
Crew 1 :someone got here before us
Narrator: Just then they heard the sound of a carriage.
Crew member 1: quick someone is coming let's go.
Narrator : All the pirates rush out as soon as they hear the sound of a
carriage. Mrs Hawkins and Dr.livsey were only able to catch a
glimpse of the people before they vanished.
Mother: Jim ,Jim
Jim: yes mother
mother :who are those people? And why were they at our inn ?
Doctor: Were they robbers?
Jim :No sir, pirates!
Doctor: pirates why would they come to an inn
Mother : Do you know what they want jim?
Jim: I think they were after this
Narrator: Jim gives the doctor the map which he had hastily retrieved
for the chest.
Mother : oh JIM I am so happy that you are ok and that these people
did not hurt you.
Doctor :it must be very important if the pirates would risk coming all
the way here! I will give it to the squire and let's see what he has to
say about this
Jim: sir i …captain told me to guard it with my life and well…maybe
i can go with u
Doc: Very well my boy, we shall leave in the morning.

Scene 4

Narrator: The next morning doctor Livsey and Jim go to squire

Trelawney to tell the news .
Doctor: squire Trelawney there was an accident at the Admiral
Benbow inn Some pirates were spotted and a captain named Billy
Bones died.
Squire Trelawney: OH well I am sorry to hear that
Doctor: Of course sir but Billy bones’ last words were for Jim to take
this piece of paper he said it was a map.
Narrator: The doctor opened the map. It looked like a treasure map.
He laid it down on the table.
Squire Trelawney: Wow, I think that is Captain Flint's treasure! I have
heard so much about it.
Jim: OH yes sir it is . i want to find it.
Narrator: They immediately start making arrangements to set sail.
They find some crew members and are tricked into hiring Long John
Silver and his men.

Scene 5

Narrator : Jim landed in Bresolette the next morning.

Jim: oh no I think I am lost.
Lady 1 : where are u going young sail?
Jim : Ummmm…. I am trying to find a way to a ship named
Hispaniola
Lady 1 : Oh i see i well, it is down there
Jim : thank u …. Madam
Captain Smollett :doctor I know some of the crew members that I
brought I am sure they are trustworthy but I am not so sure about the
rest of them I feel I can’t trust them
Doc : ahh they were brought by the cook right? Long john silver?
(JIM ENTERS)
Squire : well … hello cabin boy
Captain Smollet :well u see … this is the reason i do not like the
cruise. You have made the cruise mixed up, usually in a cruise the one
and one decision is made by the captain
Squire: What's he talking about? Anyways Jim can u go deliver this to
Long John Silver, He is right beside the spyglass … go ask anyone.
Jim: Yes , sir .
Narrator: Jim goes to find the spyglass but bumps into the same lady.
Lady 1 Oh ,what do u want this time darling…?
Jim:Ummm, I'm looking for the spyglass.
Lady 1: oh it is just off that ice treatment .OVER THERE!
Narrator : JIM FOLLOWS THE DIRECTIONS. He reaches long john
silver and introduces himself.
Jim : hello sir, I am Jim Hawkins ,the new cabin boy of the
Hispaniola and captain, asked me to give u this
Long John silver : ahh hello jim I am the cook of this ship
You look very brave, boy. So, don’t you want to shake my hands like
a true sailor?
Jim: Yes, Sir
Silver:You can call me Silver.Have you ever sailed before, Jim?
Jim: No, Silver, this is my first time....(silver stands up.
Narrator: When Silver gets up Jim sees his one leg and gets scared.
He turns around.
Jim : black dog ! You are blackdog!
Black dog : Youu !
Narrator ; Jim and black dog now were on a run knocking over
everyone in their way. Jim finds himself trapped with no escape.
Jim : someone open the door , help me
Black dog. : ( takes his knife out ) now u have nowhere to escape
Lady 1 : (above black dog. Throws down rocks) Get running!
Narrator: They escape and everyone boards the ship.

Scene 6

Narrator : 3 months later they are still on the ship in search of the
island. Jim is taking a stroll when he hears voices and hides.
Long john silver : oh! somehow I need to take this boat
Crew mate 2 : yes sir
Crew mate 1: We shall somehow get our hands on that treasure.
Silver: We don’t know where the island is, so they are taking us
there. Once they find it, we will kill them, and we will be rich.
Crew mate 2 : Can i kill the captain?
Silver: Wish granted
Narrator : Jim hears this and runs to tell the captain. In the cabin
captain Smollet ,Squire Trelawney and doctor livesey are talking.
Captain: In just a few hours we’ll sight land.
Doctor: I’m looking forward to that…
Jim: Captain, Doctor! I have to speak with you...
Captain: But, Hawkins! What are you doing there?
Doctor: Oh, Jim...
Jim: Silver! (Angry and disappointed.) He has cheated us!
Doctor: And...? Jim: I heard them! They want to kill us and keep the
treasure!
Captain smollett: Do you believe me now?
Squire: are you sure boy
Captain: well I am off to give the weapons to my trustworthy men

Scene 7

Narrator : ‘They have now reached the island. Jim has gone with the
Doctor, Squire and two other crew mates while he sees someone near
a cave’

Jim: Who are you?

Ben: Ben Gunn. It’s been three years since I have spoken to anyone.
Jim: Three years? Are you a survivor?
Ben: No! I was marooned. What is your name?
Jim: Jim, Jim Hawkins.
Ben: Oh, Jim. Tell me the truth. Is Flint on the boat?
Jim: No! Flint died, but unfortunately there are some of his men
aboard...
Ben: (With fear.) Is there one... with just one... Leg?
Jim: Silver?
Ben: Yeah! Silver. Jim: Yes, he is the cook and the leader of the evil
people. Ben: Evil people?
Jim: They want to take the treasure and kill us.
Ben: Wow! You’re in real trouble… Do you think that Doctor would
help me to return to England if I help you?
Jim: Yes, of course.
Ben: You know? I was on Flint’s ship when he hid the treasure. He
didn’t tell anyone where it was. Three years ago, I was on another
boat and we were here to see if I could find the treasure. When I didn
´t they left me here. But now I know where it is. Will you tell your
Captain I’m a good man, Jim?
Jim: Yes, but how can we get back to The Hispaniola?
Ben: I built a small boat. At night, we could try to escape
Narrator:(Sound of a cannon shot.) The battle has started and both
sides are fighting vigorously.
Narrator: Then Jim spots the doctor and he tries to get bengunn to go
with him to see the doctor.
Ben: Talk to the Doctor first. Then I’ll help.
. Jim: Captain! Doctor! It’s me, Jim!
Captain: Hawkins! Are you ok?
Jim: Yes, I am. What about you?
Doctor : We are fine, but we have lost many of our men.
Jim: But... What happened?
Captain: They tried to kill us. We managed to get here before Silver,
but along the way I lost some of my men.
JIM:I have found a half mad and crazy man
Squire:Is he nice?Do you trust him?
Jim:yes he is nice and knows where the treasure is, he states that he
will offer us help only if we take him back to england
Squire:Hmmm………… Well then ask him to meet us.
Ben gunn:Hello captain, Squire and Doctor.
Captain: Hello , what is ur name.
BG: My name is ben gunn
Narrator : Meanwhile Jim sneaks into Ben's boat and enters the ship
but he finds that it is crowded with Pirates and LJS, who take Jim
hostage.
LJS: Why hello jim,Listen i will save you if you save me.
Jimn: Deal.
Narrator : Just then one of the crew mates enters and gives him a
paper. The black spot.
LJS: What are u doin? Why are you giving this to me?
Crew mates: You spoiled the trip and we don't where the treasure is !
LJS : Are you done ?
Crew mate : yes
LJS : first u spoiled the trip by drinking. Then if i let u kill the boy or
the captain we wouldn’t have the map
Crew mate : do u have the map now ?
LJS : wait Jim give me the map
Jim : never
LJS : ( whispering ) remember our deal ?
Narrator : Jim hesitantly gives the map
LJS : see?
Narrator : The crew mates are satisfied and take the black spot back.
The next day they go in search for the treasure when ..
LJS : Hey ! Where’s the treasure !
Crew mate : the boys tricked us let's kill him
Narrator : He comes to kill Jim but long john silver get shot instead.
Just then they hear Ben Gunn singing
Crew mate : its captain flints spirit ! Run !
Narrator : Everyone other than long john silver and Jim run away
Doctor : well well if it isn’t long john silver
Squire :we scared your groove away with the help of Ben Gunn ( he
enter )
LJS : Ben Gunn , i had no idea that u were on the island
Captain : free Jim
LJS : sure ( cuts the rope)
Captain : huh
Jim : captain , LJS just saved my life !
Captain : well i am might glad u are ok , Jim
Squire : u will get a fair trail once we reach England
LJS : thank you , now where is the treasure
Ben : i found the treasure months ago it is in my cave
Narrator : They reach the cave and plan on sharing the treasure but
Long John Silver, being greedy, takes a portion of it and runs away.
Jim : silver stop !
Captain : i knew he would do that
Jim : captain can we go on more voyages
Squire : u want to continue ?!!
Doctor : if u do have to learn
Jim : you can teach me right ?
Captain : sure jim
Narrator : The next month they reach back to Admiral Benbow inn.
Mother : jim i missed u so much
Jim : mom i want to be a sailor
Mother : as long as u are safe i am happy for u
Jim : thank u mom
