Having grown up around many art lovers it is natural that such enthusiasm would also infect me and I am

grateful to now display eclectic interest in it: from the material works to the artistic image curation of
many artists like Orlando Bloom, Banksy and Marcel Duchamp all of whom have extended their art
beyond the craft itself and into the realm of """ where they use their play of appearances to pose
polarising and critical questions. They emphasise how art is more a "way of life" than an impenetrable
vocation. Marcel Duchamp has been a significant figure for me: besides his obvious dedication to his
craft, i particularly like his "anti-retinal" approach within his cubism works and "ready-mades" like
"Fountain" which posed semantic questions surrounding external objects and their representational
relationship to words as well as the at-the-time audacious act of submitting it to the Society of
Independent Artists Exhibition in 1917. His quasi-futuristic works like "Nude Descending a Staircase,
No.2" and "Sad Young Man on a Train" have provoked a

desire to illustrate movement and change within art, which has cast a light on the futurism movement.
Given the way in which recent/current technological advancements are rendering society and the Urban
Landscape, it feels natural to engage in futuristic art. The 6-week long period of experimentation
provided by the Leeds Art's University Foundation course, will grant me the freedom and diligent
atmosphere to explore this.

Having worked in different environments: retail, fast-food, etc, I am able to demonstrate agility and
customer engagement which is of aid in instances where leveraging interactions and relationships would
be favourable. In 2023, I also engaged in the 5k Parkrun weekly over the course of 30 weeks in order to
develop a form of dedication to my local community and to ensure
