1. Connect UNB VPN for all the work with Vivado

2. Go to: https://www.xilinx.com/support/download/index.html/content/xilinx/en/
downloadNav/vivado-design-tools/archive.html
3. If you do not have an account with XILINX, follow the instructions and sign on
4. Download Vivado version 2015.1
5. Use an archiver software, for instance 7-Zip to unzip .gz
6. Use an archiver software, for instance 7-Zip to unzip .tar
7. Run installation
8. Choose Vivado Design Suite, second choice in the list (radio-button)
9. Answer simple questions (just “Next”)
10. Once installation is complete, close the license request (DO NOT USE ANY FREE!!!)
UNB License is expected to be paid as donation
11. Close the Installation complete window
12. Start -> Xilinx Design Tools -> Manage Xilinx Licenses
13. In Mange License Search Path -> XILINXSD_LICENSE_FILE copy/paste:
21212@vivado.license.unb.ca
14. Run Vivado from Desktop or Start -> Xilinx
