GTA Application IT System Guide for GTAs

Login into the new faculty-wide skill-capturing IT system using this link

Read the information and follow the instructions on the screen. See screenshot.

Click Step 1 – Click Open an application by answering core questions

Answer 3 questions with regard to your suitability for GTA work in the forthcoming semester. See
screenshots.

Save your GTA application

Once saved, the IT system allows you to continue to Step 2. See screenshot.

Click on Step 2 – Declare strength in skills required to support course units

Choose the department you are interested in working as a GTA to reveal more information. See
screenshot. (It is OK to choose more than one.)
Choose the skills you have and declare your level of skill using the drop-down menu. See screenshot.

Choose and rate as many skills as you have. See screenshot.

Once you have declared your skills, save and submit Step 2. See screenshot.

Return to the main application page. See screenshot.

Once saved, the IT system allows you to continue to Step 3. See screenshot.



Click on Step 3 – Indicate experience and preferred course units

Choose the department you are interested in working as a GTA to reveal more information. See
screenshot.

Here you will see all course units which require GTA support. Please indicate your level of experience
using the drop-down menu. See screenshot.


Once you have declared your experience, save and submit Step 3. See screenshot.

Your GTA application is now complete.

Please note that you can edit all steps to make necessary changes up to the deadline.
