My dear diary
On Sunday, my family and I decided to spend time together. We left home at 1:00 pm and headed toward
one of the famous restaurants known for its noodles. When we arrived, the place was already filled with
people eating there. We sat at an empty table and ordered food from the menu. After a few minutes, the
food we ordered arrived, and we enjoyed our meal.

After finishing our meal, we continued to explore the city by car until the afternoon when we decided to
go to the fruit market. We bought some fruits like peach, mango, melon, and grapes. When I entered the
fruit house or wholesale fruit market, I thought they only sold fruits, but I was wrong. They had snacks
and drinks imported from other countries. I bet it was from China and Korea because there were many
temptations around me.

We decided to go home early since tomorrow is about our usual activities, and everyone needs a break to
prepare for tomorrow. After finishing the scheduled activities, I immediately rushed home to try the
peach. After trying it, it did not match my expectations, which were that it was watery and felt tough.
Since then, I didn't want to be fooled again by something I had seen.

I learned from my mistake that I should not rush something without doing research and thinking again.
Also, I should believe that the taste of fruit would be the same. Actually, I can buy it online and get the
fruits I want, but it would take a long time, and maybe the shipping price is definitely expensive. Maybe
one day, if I had enough money, I'll buy the fruit that I want.

Keeping a diary is a powerful way to understand yourself better, set and track your goals, and remember
all the interesting things you've experienced. It's more important to write often than to write a lot. You can
write about anything you want, so don’t feel like you can only write about how you feel. You might
instead prefer to write about your daily activities or experiences. There is no right or wrong way to write a
diary, so don't overcomplicate it. Just write whatever comes to mind and enjoy the process.

Lessons Learned from a Peach-Like Fruit: Reflections on
Family Time and the Importance of Research.

Have you ever had the feeling that you were looking for something, but it was taking a very long time to
find the fruit you desired? Last Sunday, a wonderful decision was made by my family and myself to
invest in quality time together through engaging in a shared activity of leisure. The day started at 1:00 pm
as we set off from our home, embarking on a journey in our car to one of the renowned local restaurants,
famous for its delicious noodles, particularly bihun. The idea of bonding with my family on this special
outing filled me with anticipation.

Upon our arrival at the restaurant, the atmosphere was already bustling with patrons relishing their meals.
We managed to secure a vacant table and, with excitement, placed our orders from the menu. The
anticipation grew as we waited for our chosen dishes, including Mie ayam, bihun noodles, juice, and
sweet iced tea. The meal was not only a culinary delight but also a heartwarming moment shared with
loved ones.

Having settled our tab and sated our appetites, we opted to prolong our familial expedition with a
motorized circumnavigation of the urban environs. As the afternoon approached, we ventured into a local
fruit market. While perusing the bountiful offerings, we delighted in selecting an assortment of seasonal
fruits ranging from the fuzzy peaches to the vibrant mangoes as well as the sweet melons and plump
grapes. The market, to my surprise, was not limited to fruits alone; it boasted a selection of snacks and
beverages imported from other countries, with evident influences from China and Korea. Though
temptations surrounded me, we collectively decided to head home early, mindful of the upcoming day's
commitments and the need to prepare for them.

Stepping into the fruit market, I had mistakenly assumed it only offered fruits. Much to my dismay, upon
further inspection I found that its contents comprised an assortment of comestibles and potables
originating from diverse locales around the globe. While my initial experience with a peach didn't meet
my expectations, I realized the importance of not rushing into decisions without adequate research. This
lesson extended beyond the realm of fruit; it taught me to approach life with a similar mindset. I resolved
to learn from my mistakes, conduct thorough research, and exercise patience.

As I concluded my day of family bonding and lessons learned, I found myself contemplating the notion of
acquiring fruits from different countries. While I recognized the option to purchase them online, the time
and shipping expenses posed a challenge. However, I vowed to explore this possibility further when the
opportunity arises, as my curiosity about diverse fruit flavors persists. The day provided an unforeseen
opportunity to reflect upon both the importance of nurturing relationships as well as one's own
development, while also reminding us of life's unplanned teachings through the decisions we make and
avenues we choose to investigate.
