Demons and the Alexandrian Cult

Some day I need to write
an article on “Why I Left
Punkmanism”— the heresy
taught by “punks,” consist-
ing of “punk” corrections of
the AV text by punk schol-
ars. It would be sort of
complement to “Punk Rock.”
It was recently called to
my attention that some kid
up in Canada named
Lindstrom (I forget his first
name) had tried to “refute”
four of my teachings which
he found mentioned in
Stewart Custer’s work of a
decade ago on The Truth
about the KJV Controversy.

an opportunity to enjoy life

to have and didn’t. When
analyzing any modern
“movement” or “trend,” such

sical, theological, social, sci-

There were eleven ex-
amples he cited in the work,
but he only undertook to dis-
cuss four of them. Of course,
as far as “refuting” them from
the Scriptures, he did about
the same job on them that
Cassius Clay or Tyson would
have done if they had tried
to critique a book on flower
arranging.
The thing that bugged
Lindstrom the worst was
(quite naturally) an ad-
vanced revelation on the NA-
TURE of demons, which
came from a comparison of
Scripture with Scriptures in
the English (AV) text.
Fundamentals of the Faith

About forty-two years ago
(1964), the late Bob Jones
Jr. published a pamphlet on
The Fundamentals of the
Faith. I kept a copy. It was
published by the BJU Press
and contained eleven lec-
tures on what BJU consid-
ered to be the proper and
essential things for all Fun-
damentalists to believe.
These items were taken from
the BJU “Creed,” which I re-
peated every morning at 10
o’clock chapel (Mon. through
Fri.) for more than four
years.
The “creed,” as recited,
did not contain one state-
ment on: the local church,
the mode or meaning of wa-
ter baptism, the eternal se-
curity of the believer, the pre-
Tribulation Rapture, the res-
toration of Israel, or the
Millennial reign of Christ.
Lindstrom, evidently (like
many young men), had
wasted his tuition at some
Alexandrian offshoot that
only knew what the Greek
scholars had taught them.
All of the Greek scholars—
all, without one exception—
missed a major truth which
was quite apparent in the
English of 1611 (any edi-
tion). This truth was that
flies, mosquitoes, and birds
are TYPES of demons (or
“devils,” as the AV states
the matter).
This blew Lindstrom’s
mind, for he could not con-
ceive that the AV had any

dare take the Baptist posi-
tion on any of those Biblical
essentials.
However, it will take
money from Baptist mothers
and fathers in order to get
control of their children!
Now, the “all important”
fundamental, according to
Bob Jones Jr. (p. 3), was the
“INSPIRATION OF THE
BIBLE.” He tells his gullible
audience that if anyone un-
dermines “faith in ITS infalli-
bility [no Bible given], or its
authority [no Bible named],
or its divine inspiration [no
Bible mentioned directly or
indirectly ], the whole house
will crumble, because His
Word [not any “Bible”] is the
foundation upon which all
rests” (ibid).
This is so typical of the

advanced light in it that nei-
ther he, nor the men who
taught him nor the men that
wrote the textbooks for
teaching them, had found in
“the original Greek” or “the
Greek text” or whatever—
you know the Alexandrian
line.
So here, for the “serious
Bible student” who has bet-
ter sense than to correct the
Holy Bible with some lost
pieces of paper no one has
ever found, we list what the
Scriptures SAY about these
matters. Naturally, we use
the Holy Bible (AV) for this

split-tongued “double speak”
of apostate Laodiceans as to
be absolutely “uniform.” I will
quote several more state-
ments before attempting to
show the “uninitiated” what
this professional liar is trying
to get across while lying like
a dog the entire time he is on
the platform.
1. “If one does not believe
that THE BIBLE [ unidenti-
fied ] actually IS [present
tense] God’s Word, he has
no foundation upon which to
base his position” (ibid).
2. “When we say that THE
BIBLE [ unidentified ] IS
[present tense] the IN-
SPIRED WORD OF GOD,
we mean that the Book [no
book anywhere in sight ] has
breathed into it the very spirit
and truth of an eternal God”
(p. 4).

“Over the Hill”
Last month (Nov. 19), I
passed my eighty-fifth year
on “planet earth.” Caleb got
to 85, and John Wesley to
88, but at the rate things are
going, I don’t believe I’m go-
ing to give John any compe-
tition. After reading Eccles-
iastes through somewhere
over 150 times, I naturally
became inoculated with a
depressing prophecy in
Ecclesiastes 12:1; it goes
like this: “Remember now
thy Creator in the days of
thy youth, while the evil
days come not, nor the
years draw nigh, when
thou shalt say, I have no
pleasure in them.”
My parents named me af-
ter the “Prince of Apostles”—
a Roman Catholic title given
to Simon Peter—so I had a
hard time shaking John
21:18 every time I read it.
With these two inspired
verses of Scripture landing
on me 150-plus times, I
couldn’t possibly have
missed seeing “the handwrit-
ing on the wall.”
My problem was simple,
and I have seen it clearly,
face-to-face, since the day I
was saved: March 14, 1949.
God had (in His great mercy
and kindness) given me
“special privileges” that He
rarely gave to any man—
ANY man on this earth. I
have told congregations up
and down this country (and
overseas) that I was one of
the Lord’s “spoiled kids.” I
have always believed that; I
believe THAT right now. For
some strange reason the Al-
mighty just gave me a full
cup and then let it “run over”
for half a century: I have
been saved fifty-seven
years.
I have seen God, time and
time and time again, allow
me opportunities, privileges,
“handfuls of purpose,” and
blessings that other men
never get. And during the re-
ception of these great “show-
ers of blessing,” I have of-
ten told congregations: “You
folks that are sick all the time
will all probably out-live me.
I am sure that after a lengthy
life of good health, paid bills,
saved children, preaching
opportunities, souls saved,
good food, and good com-
pany, some day I probably
will fold up like a berry bas-
ket under a sledge hammer;
the whole ‘new’ car will col-
lapse on the highway.”
That is about what hap-
pened.
But now that “Sister Nem-
esis” has showed up, I am
faced with the fact that what
is happening to me, now, has
already happened to literally
hundreds of thousands of
men and women long before
they reached the “three
score and ten” (Psa. 90:10)
or even “two score and one.”
Further, the Lord is still
touching me lightly com-
pared with His touch on a
hundred godly Christians
who did as much for Him (or
more) than I ever did, and
lived better lives while they
were doing it. I have no illu-
sions about sickness, sin,
suffering, chastisement, holy
living, punishments, rewards,
or the “brethren.”
When you’ve been
through that Book on an av-
erage of three times a year
for fifty-seven years, you
don’t have “illusions” about
those things anymore. You
know that this old world is
still a “vale of tears” (Psa.
6:6, 42:3; Rom. 12:15; 1 Cor.
2:3; Acts 20:19) for any saint
or sinner, and the “dessert”
(Rev. 21:4) doesn’t come till
the dinner is OVER. “Pie in
the sky” is the correct term
(see Col. 2:1–3; Rom. 8:18,
29; Rev. 21:4; 2 Cor. 4:17–
18; 1 Cor. 15:58).
My problem, now, is quite
simple: my back has at last
“given way,” and Ecclesi-
astes 12:1 is fulfilled. I al-
ready had a touch of Ec-
clesiastes 12 in verse 12, but
as anyone knows, the
KNEES and the BACK are
the first things that begin to
collapse among soldiers,
football players, soccer play-
ers, basketball players,
hockey players, and other
athletes.
My problem is simple.
Without my realizing it, my
toting of 8-foot four-by-fours
on both shoulders (garden
work) and two fifty-pound
sacks of fertilizer or seed on
the shoulders (garden work)
and playing two hours of ice
hockey and street hockey “at
a lick”—sometimes in tem-
peratures of seventy to
eighty-five degrees— and
jogging a mile a day (in my
bare feet) on asphalt high-
ways for thirty-four years,
and practising martial arts
(Judo, Karate, Tae Kwondo,
and Aikido) up until I was
seventy-five years old, “took
their toll.” You might have
known they would. Throwing
lead-weighted mullet nets
(6½ to 14 footers) did not
exactly “limber” up my back
either. I threw them until I
was eighty-three. My last
hockey game was Novem-
ber 19, 2005. I “kept the
gate” for three, twenty-
minute games and (by God’s
grace) won all three of them.
Then along about Febru-
ary-March of 2006, the “old
gray mare” fell apart. You
might have guessed what
happened; it was the good

ole’ “sciatic” nerve down the
right leg. Later the “MRI”
showed two herniated disks
in the lower back: one on
the right side of the “lumbar”
and one on the left. Between
the vertebra the cushions
were about as thick as a
safety match clear up and
down the whole spinal col-
umn. Along with the discs
came the wonderful news
that arthritis had showed up
in some places in the spine
as well as the knees.
“The years draw nigh,
when thou shalt say, I have
no pleasure in them” (Eccl.
12:1).
I lost FOUR of my great-
est earthly “pleasures” in
less than two months (April-
May), and it is very unlikely
I will ever recover them as
they were. My time had
“come.” I knew it had to
“come” sooner or later. No
man could be allowed to live
the life God gave me and
come out of it without a taste
of frustration, handicaps,
pain, hospital bills, and in-
activity; I never expected to.
I was only surprised that God
had withheld the “axe” as
long as He did. When I was
saved I was not looking for-
ward to reaching the age of
forty. He carried me more

We have been examining
a work recommended by
James White, Robert Sum-
ner, and Gary Hudson (three
typical “ministerial rejects”)
and written by another back-
slidden, carnal apostate
(Robert Joyner). All follow
“The Creed of the Alexan-
drian Cult” to the letter, as it
is found printed in this edi-
tion (and every edition) of the
Bible Believers’ Bulletin. We
never had to change a line
of it in twenty-seven years.
Taking this book ( King
James Only? Joyner, 2000)

“Quote 4.” He misquoted the
translators. They did not say
“is the Word of God.” They
said, “it is the word of God.”

For three months, I was
unable to fill the pulpit for all
four services (Sunday
School, Prayer Meeting, and
Sunday morning and night).
Gradually I got back into
Sunday School after three
months, and then after four
months, I finally was able to
draw again on Sunday night.
Right now, I am “full time”
again, but I am limping
through it.
I have had four operations
in five months: One on the
spinal column to make a
“hole” for the sciatic nerve
to pass through—it was not
a raging success, only par-
tial—another one was on
varicose veins in the right
leg, another one on a cyst
near the groin, and several
more removing moles on the
back that showed signs of
cancer. I am subsisting on
fourteen pills a day—this has
been going on for five
months—with no pain killers
or “knock out drops.” With
my eyesight getting dimmer
(macular degeneration in
both eyes) and only a few
teeth left, I am “well on my
way” at eighty-five.
I hate to admit it, but at
last I have become a “senior
citizen” which (in my vocabu-
lary) means “an old geezer”
—still ALIVE at eighty-five.
God knows He delayed
things as long as He could,
but I had one little inkling of
“Over the Hill”
it when I got to my seventy-
second birthday. At the time
(1993), I attended a one-
week summer training camp
in Chicago for ice hockey
goalies. I lost twenty pounds
in five days and came back
from there with the definite
impression that it was too
late for me to try out for the
National Hockey League.
Well, to say that “God has
been good to me” would be
shortcutting Him and under-
handing Him miserably. God
has treated me like royalty
for fifty-seven years, after
protecting me and guiding
me through twenty-seven
years of sinful, wicked living
when I was a disgrace to His
name and His Son and His
Book and His people. I have
no complaints to make. I
have no criticisms to regis-
ter. I have nothing to say ex-
cept that, with the curse
placed on Adam, sooner or
later every one of us must
“pay the piper” (a quotation
from John Wesley when he
was on his death bed). I am
doing that right now, along
with thousands and hun-
dreds of thousands of oth-
ers. The acupuncture has
not fixed me up, nor has two
months of “decompression”
on the spinal column, nor
has massage or chiropractic
treatment, nor has two
months of “rehabilitation” af-
ter treatment. If I have to
have another back opera-
tion, it will be steel “nuts and
bolts” inserted into the spi-
nal column. (I am “looking
forward” to that like a con-
demned prisoner looks “for-
ward” to the “Hot Squat.”)

never found (after 1000 B.C.)
as original autographs in any
book, let alone “THE” Bible.
Why did he use the
present tense? Why didn’t he
say “the original manuscripts
were inspired, and there was
a Bible that contained
them”?
Because he, as Bob
Jones III and IV, John Rice,
Curtis Hutson, and James
White (exactly as John
MacArthur, Mike Randal,
Rick Shrader, Dave Hunt,
Homer Duncan, and Arthur
Farstad) all made their liv-
ing by lying. They are “pros,”
exactly like their 320 “bud-
dies” we listed in the Appen-
dix of The Christian Liars’ Li-
brary (1997).

is “what all Christians have
believed” throughout church
history.
Lied like a dog. Not even
the AV translators said that
in any Preface. The King
James Preface said “truth
must be tried by the ORIGI-
NAL TONGUES.”
This means Joyner’s en-
tire book, from here on, is
based on a lie.
On page 11, you are sold
on the idea that the NIV,
NASV, etc., are necessary
to find out the “sense of
Scripture” and are good to
study. We use both of them
in studying. We use twenty-
eight more just to make sure,
and we use Nestle, Aland,
and Metzger’s corrupt Greek
text to “find out the sense of
Scripture.” Of course we do.
We all believe in “study
helps.” Joyner told you (last
article) that “King James
Only” required no study.
Well, we use as much mate-
rial as Joyner uses and per-
haps more. What has that to
do with belief or unbelief?
Nothing. He is just “hot-
dogging.” He doesn’t believe
anything he USES unless it
suits his fancy; no practical
atheist does.
Now the chicken sticks
out his chicken breast and
cackles, “If I can show the

1. When the Holy Spirit
descended on Christ, He de-
scended in the FORM of a
“DOVE” (Matt. 3:16). That

Spirit writing the account.
2. Both Christ and His
bride are said to have
“dove’s eyes” (Song of Sol.
5:12, 4:1) because they
show the person and work
of the Holy Spirit. That is not
“Greek exegesis;” that is
SOUND BIBLE DOCTRINE.
3. The dove first shows
up in Genesis 8:10 and is
contrasted with an UN-

Every documented cita-
tion (word-for-word from the
Arabic) is a direct quotation
from the Holy Hadith. There
is not one “radical extrem-
ist” writer in the whole book.
It says Mohammed was a
prophet who admitted he
could not prophesy (see
Sura 6:50 and notes 752,
758, 78); he was a sinner
who claimed all prophets
were sinless—after accept-
ing Gabriel’s word that he
(Mohammed) was sinless.
After being told that he was
sinless, Mohammed pro-
ceeded to confess his sins
right and left, hoping that Al-
lah would admit him to Para-
dise— without knowing that
he would (Hadith, vol. I, 71,
78; Sura 46:9, 40:55, note
2194, Sura 12:53, 19:14,
note 1535).
This remarkable conduct
came from an epileptic, illit-
erate military killer who
couldn’t control his own go-
nads; so he set up a religion
where any “Moslem” could
have four wives (Sura 4:3).
This would be a safeguard
against him committing adul-
tery (Ghazali, Ihy’a ‘Uloum
ed-Din; Dar al-Kotob al-
’Elmeyah, Beirut, Vol. II, p.
34)!
According to the following
original Arabic sources, that
is orthodox Islam. It has noth-
ing to do with “terrorists” or
“suicide bombers” (Women in
Islam, M. Rafiqul Haqq, 1995;
“The Berean Call,” Bend, Or-
egon; Ibn Hazm, Al-Muhalla,
Vol. 6, part 9, pp. 441-467).
Where does this fit today?
All right, was Jesus Christ a
prophet? Was Moses a
prophet? Was David a
prophet? Well, if they were,
they all were sinless. The
Holy Koran says they were
(Sura 40:55, note 2194, Sura
19:14, note 1535).
Islam’s recognized proph-
ets are Adam, Noah,
Abraham, Ishmael, Moses,
Zechariah, John the Baptist,
and Jesus Christ. None of
them were holy prophets.
The only HOLY prophet was
Mohammed.
Well then, what is wrong
with killing people if they
make fun of a sinless man
(who didn’t claim to be
sinless)? (Sura 12:53, 53:2,
note 2372)
In America, Jesus Christ
has been pictured as stand-
ing in urine, using a needle
for drugs, and shacking up
with Mary Magdalene. Well,
why weren’t these painters
and writers beheaded? Was
Mohammed more sinless
than Jesus Christ? If he was,
why did he keep confessing
his sins (Abu Huraria,
Mishkat al Massabih, pp,
525, 529)?
See the pretty “carousel”
spinning around with all the
nuts on it half asleep? Why
the “Prophet” that Moham-
med recognized and hon-
ored as a “prophet of God”
(supposedly Jesus Christ)
was not even connected with
the “Jesus Christ” found in
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
John. That Jesus Christ’s
name was “JESUS,” mean-
ing “Jehovah SAVES.”
Mohammed’s “prophet” was
“ESAU;” it wasn’t Jesus or
Ihsouı at all. The Arabic
“Isa” in every copy of the
Koran, is the word for a type
of Antichrist in the Bible (see
Gen. 25:27, 10:9; Obad-
diah)—Esau, the fleshy, car-
nal sinner whom God said
He hated (Mal. 1:3; Rom.
9:13). The Mohammedan
“JESU” is “ISA,” who never
showed up anywhere in the
New Testament. Moham-

that expression meant? Af-
ter all, Indonesians, Algeri-
ans, Moroccans, Turks, Syr-
ians, Arabs, Malayans,
Iraquis, and Iranians are dif-
ferent “nations.”
No, they are not. Not to
any Moslem. If they are Mos-
lems in those nations, all of
them are part of “the Islamic
Nation” (singular). How did
100,000 newsmen and
women miss that one? Easy;
when the USA began to be
spoken of as singular, after
the Civil War, nobody no-
ticed that the English gram-
mar was destroyed. The ac-
ronym “USA” didn’t mean
“the United STATE of
America” at all. As a repub-
lic (not a democracy), it was
“the United STATES” (plu-
ral). How did 100,000 writ-
ers of history and religion
miss that one?
“The only thing men learn
from history is . . . etc.”
So here are several hun-
dred million Americans
tangled up to their eyeballs
in a vile net of religious in-
sanity, and they have no
idea of what they are deal-
ing with. They are not war-
ring against any Moslem na-
tion (Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan,
etc.); they are warring
against “THE NATION (sin-
gular) OF ISLAM.” “THE NA-
TION OF ISLAM” occupies
North and South America,
Africa, Asia, Europe, and the
East and West Indies. That
“nation” is not a nation at
all—it is a RELIGION. Look
how kooky you have to be
not to see that. Imagine me
writing about “The Baptist
Nation” or “The Catholic Na-
tion” when referring to one-
fifth of the population of the
United States or the Philip-
pines.
That is “Islam.” All Ca-
liphs, Sheiks, Ulamas, and
Imams since A.D. 700 have
taught exactly what all Popes
taught from A.D. 500 to A.D.
2006: they are to take over
the entire world (see Sura
3:110, 21:107, 6:74, 6:166,
note 872, 22:78, 48:28, note
2323, 24:55, note 1763) ex-
actly as all Popes say the
entire world is to be “one
flock” under a Roman Catho-
lic Pope (John 10:16, 17:11,
21). Thus, both of those
apostate Church-States
have to claim to be a “NA-
TION,” for that was the word
used by Jesus Christ in Mat-
thew 21:43.
“Therefore I say unto
you, The kingdom of God
shall be taken from you,
and given to a nation
bringing forth the fruits
thereof” (Matt. 21:43).
Hence, “The Nation of Is-
lam” or “The Islamic Nation”
is not really a reference to
ANY nation; it is a reference
to 1,000,000 worshippers of
Mohammed’s moon god who
was the chief god of the
Ka’aba before Mohammed’s
birth. Not one news media
outlet picked it up. They
hadn’t read Matthew 21 in
150 years.
The word “Islam” is not
even a religious word like
“atonement,” “justification,”
“redemption,” “sanctifica-
tion,” “regeneration,” or “be-
lief.” The word was a mili-

Training Preachers Overseas

From time to time we
present a need to you, our
readers, because you have
demonstrated a burden to
get good, Bible-believing
material into the hands of
Christians overseas who
don’t have the resources to
reach their own people. In
the past, you have helped
plant a church in Lebrija,
Spain, you sent tens of thou-
sands of tracts to India dur-
ing that country’s recognition
of Christ’s birth in the year
2000, you did it again when
that area of the world expe-
rienced a devastating tsu-
nami, and you supplied thou-
sands of Spanish tracts to
reach Roman Catholics in
Honduras who had needed
relief from Hurricane Gamma
last year. Many of you have
asked us to keep you in-
formed when opportunities
arise for getting the Gospel
overseas.
Recently we have been
contacted by Christians in
two Moslem-controlled areas
of the world: Mindanao in the
Philippines and northern Ni-
geria. These Christians, who
endanger their lives simply
by meeting publicly in the
name of Jesus Christ, both
have a goal of starting a
Bible school at their church
to train preachers and pas-
tors to evangelize these ar-
eas and plant sound, Bible-
believing churches. They
have not asked us for money
to build a place to hold
classes. What they have
asked is the very basic ma-
terial to supply their teach-
ers to train young men for
these tasks.
We have put together a
list of 71 books that we feel
a school like PBI should
have to train young men for
the ministry. Twenty-six of
these are essential texts for
classes like Local Church,
Preacher and His Problems,
Evangelistic Song Leading,
Visitation, Manuscript Evi-
dence, Basic Theology,
Church History, etc. Twelve
of them are commentaries to
help the teachers teach the
same Bible courses young
men here in America get
from Dr. Ruckman and Bro.
Donovan at PBI. The remain-
ing 33 books are works that
can be a real help to both
teachers and students in
subjects like Eschatology,
Calvinism, Dispensation-
alism, Creationism, and Ca-
tholicism. The total cost for
such a library is $1,035.
Brethren, one of the fast-
est growing religions in the
world is Islam. It grows for
two reasons: 1) Christians
aren’t willing to stand up
against it, and 2) those who
do don’t have the material
they need to do the job right.
Any donations to the India
Literature Fund over the next
few months will go toward
the purchase and shipment
of these two teaching librar-
ies to help future preachers
in Mindanao and northern Ni-
geria to carry out the job of
reaching Moslems for Jesus
Christ the right way. Any ex-
tra gifts will go to purchase
books by Dr. Ruckman on
basic theological subjects for
Bible school students in In-
dia.
