1. What are your strengths in terms of oral and written communication? (3 sentences)
I have fair share of experience in oral and written communication and I can say that my
strengths in oral and written communication stem from my passion in English. I have a
spontaneous mind with various ideas that I apply in my speaking and writing. In addition, I have
a keen eye for errors which plays a big role say I need to deliver a speech or write one.
2. What are your weaknesses in terms of oral and written communication? (3 sentences)
The technicality of writing in terms of grammar and the pronunciation in speech are some of
my weaknesses. Although I am sufficient in these factors, I still have a lot of room for
improvement. Thus, I continuously try to improve myself and always seek for help when I need
it.
3. How do you think technical communication could become helpful in your future career?
Business requires technical communication, since it involves communication letters,
business studies, meetings, etc. In the real estate industry, we create feasibility studies for real
estate projects. Having the knowledge and technical communication skill, professional real
estate practitioners can elevate their practice by applying effective and proper technical
communication practices. Brokers can close a deal if they possess the communication skill to
persuade their prospect buyers. For these reasons, I think technical communication is an
important skill that an aspiring real estate practitioner must learn.
