CULTURE
Football is a unifying factor in
Colombian society. The carnivals
became an opportunity for the
entire population to gather and
enjoy La Fiesta.
There are many traditional folktales
and stories about legendary
creatures. Colombian folklore has
strong influences from Spanish
culture, with elements from Native
American and African cultures.
Colombians have been producing art
for thousands of years.
Studies suggest that around 70.9%
of Colombians are Roman Catholics.
