When church people talk about being saved, it usually

brings a frown to those who do not understand what

they mean. What does “being saved” really means?
"Being saved" means that you have accepted the free
gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ to all persons.
To explain salvation, Allow me to take you back to the
beginning of creation:

God’s First Problem

“In the beginning God created

the heavens and the earth.
The earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the
Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

Gen esis 1:1, 2 NKJ V

Notice that in Genesis 1:2 an problem arises. “The earth

was without form, and void…” There was no order or
structure on Earth. There was no organization. In other
words, Earth was a wasteland, a desert, or a
wilderness. The way I know God, this must have been of
great concern to Him. God is a God of structure and
form. He is a God that brings order to chaos and makes
something out of nothing.

Also notice that the Bible doesn’t say that there was a
problem with the Heavens that God created. There was
only a problem with Earth. This implies that God had to
establish order in the Earth just like it was in Heaven.
As a result of this God began His structural work in the
Earth. We read all about this work in Genesis 1:3-25.

God Creates Man in His Image

In Genesis 1:26 , an interesting turn in God’s

structural work occurs. What happened? He created a
specie that was the likeness of Himself. This specie God
called Man. Man had God-like potential. It was an
awesome sight even to God Himself.

“Then God said, "Let us make man in our image,

in our likeness, and let them rule over the
fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over
the livestock, over all the earth, and over all
the creatures that move along the ground."

Gen esis 1:26, NIV

God does nothing without a clear-cut purpose. There is
always a reason why He creates something. It was no
different with the creation of Man. He had a decisive
purpose for the creation of Man.

Man was created a superior being. Man was also

created to dominate the rest of creation. This awesome
God gave Man dominion over the rest of creation. Man
was given dominion for a specific purpose. What was
this purpose?

“Then God blessed them, and God said to them,

"Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;
have do m in io n o ver the fish of the sea, over the birds of
the air, and over every living thing
that moves on the earth."

Gen esis 1:28, NKJ V

God Created Man To Rule Over Creation

God created Man in His likeness. Man was just like God.
There is a reason why God created a prototype of
Himself. The reason is that God intended for Man to
have the rule on Earth just as God has the rule in
Heaven.

Therefore, God gave Man dominion or rule over

everything that He created on Earth. Therefore, the
purpose of Man is:

To rul e ov er God’s creati on a nd to maintain

the or de r that was establish ed b y G od.

This is the purpose of Man. This is why Man was

created. No one should maintain order on Earth
besides Man. Man is the only creation that is designed
for it.

God’s Second Problem

God had a second problem that He had to deal with.

The first problem was the fact that the Earth was
without form. The second problem was the fact that
Man failed to continue the order on Earth.

When Man willfully deserted his task, satan occupied the

authority that God had given to Man. There is so much
chaos in the world today, because a wicked prince
called satan is ruling in stead of Man.

“…in which you once walked according to the course of this

world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.”

Ephesians 2 :2 , N KJV

God’s Solution To His Problems

God had to come up with a solution to solve both His

problems. He worked out that if He could solve the
second problem first, then the first problem will also be
sorted out. Therefore, The key to solving the first
problem (disorder) was to attend to the second
problem (leadership) first.

Jesus Christ: Answer To The Second Problem

“But when the fullness of the time

had come, God sent forth His Son…”

Galatians 4:4, NKJV

In a little town called Bethlehem, an extraordinary event
occurred that altered the course of the entire creation.
In a manger, the Saviour of the World was born.
Simplistic, yet exceptional. The birth of Jesus Christ was
the event of the centuries!

It was the fullness of the time. God had to do something

about Man steering further and further away from his
purpose. As a result, He sent Jesus Christ.

What Makes Jesus Christ So Special?

Jesus Christ was the perfect solution to God’s Second

Problem. Why? Because Adam was a son of God, but
Jesus Christ was the Son of God. Adam was made in
the likeness of God. Jesus Christ was made God Himself.
Adam was made in the image of God. Jesus Christ was
the image of God.

“Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped

Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

Matthew 14:33, NKJV

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child,
and bear a Son, and they shall call His name
Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Matthew 1:23, NKJV

“… lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,

who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

2 Corinthians, NKJV

Jesus Christ Came To Re-introduce Man

To His God-given Dominion

The main reason why Jesus Christ came to Earth was:

To re-introduce Man to his God-given dominion.

The reason Jesus Christ was so powerful on Earth was

because He operated in the dominion and authority of
Man. Normal human beings couldn’t understand the
power of Jesus Christ. They marveled at all the power
that God displayed through Jesus Christ. But it was
power that belonged to us.
God sent Jesus Christ in the ability of Man to re-
introduce human beings to God-given dominion.
Through Jesus Christ, the authority and capabilities of
Man was re-displayed like it used to be in the days of
Adam.

Jesus Christ Came To Introduce Man

To The New Man

Jesus Christ was completely Man and completely God.

He was not just created after the order or design of
Adam. God created a newer, more refined type of Man.
That is why Jesus Christ is associated with the New Man.
He is a newer model of the same version called Man.

“and that you put on the ne w ma n

which was created according to God,
in true righteousness and holiness.”

Ephesians 4:24

“…and have put on the ne w ma n

who is renewed in knowledge according
to the image of Him who created him…”

Colossians 3:10
The New Man has newer features and the latest
spiritual technology! He is built with no flaws! Jesus
Christ also came to offer us the dominion of the New
Man.

Jesus Christ Also Came To

Re-introduce Man To Life

The words of Jesus Christ in one of His talks were:

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they
may have it more abundantly.

John 10:10

Jesus Christ was sent by God to reconnect human

beings to Life. He is not out to steal, to kill, or to
destroy. He came so that we might have Life. To have
Life is to have your spiritual functions activated. The
Life of God, that elevated Jesus to greatness, can
happen to you!
Jesus Christ Also Came To Re-introduce Man
To Life Abundantly

Notice that Jesus Christ did not simply come to give you
Life sufficiently. He came that you may have Life
abundantly. This means you will have Life more than
what Adam had. The Life supply is more! This implies
that you can do greater things than what Adam did!

Jesus Christ came so that we can have more spiritual

capabilities and functions than what Adam had. Jesus
Christ gave a new dimension to Man. That is why the
Bible calls Him the New Man.

Jesus Christ Came To Re-introduce Man

To The Kingdom of God.

Another purpose of Jesus Christ is to re-introduced

human beings to the environment of the Kingdom of
God. The first words of John the Baptist recorded
Matthew 3:2 are:

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"

When Jesus Christ began His ministry on Earth, He also
commenced by saying:

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 4:17

The message of the kingdom was of paramount

importance to Jesus Christ. In the New Testament this
word ‘kingdom’ is referenced about 150 times. The
Kingdom message was the main theme of the ministry
of Jesus Christ. He told countless parables to the
people explaining to them the nature of the Kingdom.

The environment of the Kingdom of Heaven is what God

chose for Man to dwell in. Manhood is established in
Heaven. God had to bring Heaven down to Earth so that
Man can exhibit spiritual power (mighty works;
miraculous deeds). Without the environment of the
Kingdom of Heaven, nothing extraordinary is possible.

In teaching His disciples to pray, Jesus Christ made it

emphatically clear that it is necessary for the Kingdom
of God to come to Earth before the will (purposes) of
God can be established. “Your Kingdom come; Your Will
be done”. Without the Kingdom of God on Earth, we are
mere human beings. This environment, called the
Kingdom of Heaven, gives Man his God-like status. It
alters Man’s capabilities.

Jesus Christ Came To Re-introduce Man

To His Personal Purpose

Adam’s offspring has a death warrant signed. They are

born with a disposition. They have dysfunctional
abilities. They are born in Adam’s fallen capacity.
Because of their sinful nature they cannot be carriers of
the glory of God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

Roma ns 3 :23

The spiritual offspring of Jesus Christ are kings. They

are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. They are operating in
the power of Jesus Christ. They are carriers of the glory
of God. They cannot be corrupted or their course
cannot be altered.
They are the true kings of the Earth. They possess the
same power of Jesus Christ, the New Man.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the

works that I do he will do also; and greater works than
these he will do, because I go to My Father.

John 14:12

They are a generation or a spiritual race with great

authority and capacity. They are like Jesus Christ. They
possess the power of Jesus Christ. They are carriers of
the power that operated in Jesus Christ. The Bible
writes this about them:

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,

a holy nation, His own special people, that you may
proclaim the praises of Him who called you out
of darkness into His marvelous light;

1 Pet er 2:9

Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of satan. satan

is keeping people in bondage, but Jesus Christ came to
set them free. All over the world we see people in
bondage – not living out their God-like potential. Jesus
Christ came to set people free so that they can come up
to the new level of Man – the New Man.

“and that you put on the ne w ma n which was created

according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

Ephesians 4 :24

Jesus Christ Came To Destroy The Power Of Sin

What is sin? A personal definition of sin that helped me

throughout my life is the following:

Sin is d is obed ien ce an d failure

to co nfor m to what the Bible say s.

If you fail to conform or do what the Bible says, you are

living a sinful or unsuccessful life. In the world today
there are many people that live unsuccessful lives
because they do not live according to the standards
that God describes in His Word.

However Jesus Christ came to destroy the effect of sin

over people’s lives. When you commit your life to Jesus
Christ, He will remove the effects of sin over your life.
The effects of sin are poverty, sickness, drunkenness,
adultery, murder, stealing, etc.

How Does Jesus Christ Set You Free From Sin?

“...knowing that a man is not justified

by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ...”

Galatians 2:16

The word ‘ju stify’ means ‘to confirm someone to

be free from blame.’ If we have faith in Jesus Christ
then He automatically confirm or prove us to be free
from any blame of the sin our forefather, Adam,
committed.

Through Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God, they

brought a curse on the entire human race. If we are
justified - through believing in Jesus Christ - then we
don’t have to be effected by the curse of sin anymore.
We don’t stand accused of the sin committed by the
first human beings anymore.

In other words, we are no longer blamed for the sin

Adam did, for the reason that we accepted Christ. Isn’t
that wonderful? We were excused because of the faith
that we have in Christ and not by our own good deeds.
Through faith in Jesus Christ we can live a successful
life.

In order to do this you need to have a Born Again

Experience. In other words, you need to be
transferred into the Kingdom of God – where you
belong. It is a total change from a lifestyle of mediocrity
to a lifestyle of constant success. To be born again is a
spiritual experience.

How To Have a Born Again Experience

“A man can no more change himself by himself,

than a leopard can change its spots. The real art of
self-improvement is Christ improvement.”

(Norman Vincent Peale, 1956)

If you want a Born Again Experience, and you

know you need to change your lifestyle, pray this
prayer:
“Father, in Jesus’ name I come to you. I realise now that I
have gone against your principles and laws up until now.
But I do not want to live this way anymore. I want to join
others in this wonderful life. I have sinned and fall short of
Your glory. However, I believe in Jesus Christ and that He
died for all my sins and now accepts Him as Lord, Saviour,
and King of my life. I now believe that I have been
received in your Kingdom and I am now a citizen. Amen!

Now give up everything that you know in your heart to

be wrong. You cannot compromise if you want to be
successful. Success from a compromising position will
result in partial success. Partial success is no success
at all.

You are now saved! Saved from unsuccessful living.

Saved from the effects of sin. Saved from a life of
mediocrity. Saved from eternal hell. Saved from
unanswered prayers. Saved from powerlessness. Saved
from a purposeless life. Connect yourself with other
people that are also saved. God bless you.
Everything For Love

Everything explained in this booklet happened because

of the Love God has for Creation and for Man. The Bible
states:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only

begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not
perish, but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

God wanted to proof His love for us so bad that He was

willing to sacrifice His only begotten Son in order for us
to be saved. Let us therefore be “determined not to
know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and
him crucified” (1Cor 2:2), and to glory in nothing
“except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom
the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world”
(Gal 6:14).
