    This study examined regurgitative food transfer among wild wolves. The authors observed wolves in Minnesota and found that adult wolves regularly regurgitated food to feed pups and other pack members. Food was passed from the dominant male and female to subordinates and pups through regurgitation. This behavior allows for sharing of food resources within wolf packs.
