4. Course general Description:
This course explores the pathophysiological changes of common diseases affecting humans. The
course content builds on the previously gained knowledge in the courses' content of anatomy,
physiology, microbiology and chemistry. The pathophysiologic basis of common human health
alterations and associated clinical manifestations are discussed.

• Describe pathophysiological changes associated with common diseases.
• Differentiate normal and abnormal findings and manifestations associated with diseases.

This course is offered at multiple branches at the
College of Nursing, Jouf University. The
teaching Classes in all branches, where this
course is being offered, are fully equipped with
Teacher's podium, chairs, desks and air
facilities
conditioning system. In Sakaka branch, there
(Classrooms, laboratories, exhibition rooms,
are11 teaching classes designated for male
simulation rooms, etc.)
nursing students and another 10 classes serve
female nursing students. In Qurayyat branch,
there are11 teaching classes designated for male
nursing students, and another 14 classes serve
female nursing students
Every teaching hall is equipped with a Smart
Board, interactive data show, desktop and access

addition, regular announcements will be posted
by the instructor to update students about the
course content, reminds them of due dates, and
