contract of head coach Jonathan Trott has been extended for an additional year. Trott, who
assumed the coaching role in July 2022, concluded his initial 18-month tenure in 2023,

During Trott's tenure, Afghanistan witnessed a meteoric rise, capturing attention with notable
victories. The team's crowning achievements include a stellar performance at the T20 Asia
Cup 2022, securing their maiden international win. Furthermore, Afghanistan clinched a
