AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer and FireFlow Training

CASA (Certified AlgoSec Security Administrator)

Introduction
AlgoSec offers its customers level 2 certification training sessions for AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer and for AlgoSec
FireFlow. The training includes both theoretical sessions as well as hands-on lab exercises. At the end of each
course, attendees take the certification exam and will become a Certified AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer and/or FireFlow
Security Administrator, if successful.

Training Overview
The Certified AlgoSec Security Administrator training covers software installation, product configuration, customization
and day-to-day operations.

Who Should Take This Training Prerequisite Equipment

The training is designed for the following audience: Each participant should bring a laptop, which
should include the following:
• Security managers, network operation engineers and firewall • Access to the internet.

• A web browser (Internet Explorer 8 and up
• Technical support engineers
or FireFox) with HTTPS connectivity (port
• Security consultants and auditors 443).
• Ability to connect to GoToMeeting session
(For virtual classroom only).
Prerequisites
• Headphones or speakers.
Candidates for level 2 training should have:
• SSH Connection
• Basic knowledge of firewall configuration, operation and • Flash Player
management.
• Firewall policies and rules understanding
Training Schedule and Language
• Level 1 Completion of the following session:
• Duration: 3 days
- Performing compliance and risk analysis using AlgoSec
Firewall Analyzer reports • Class hours: 9 to 5 each day
- Exploring your network with AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer • Language: English
- Performing policy optimization using AlgoSec Firewall
