1. What is the importance of learning the history of Computers?

Learning the history of computers is important for us to understand how computers are developed year by
year. It gives us more and enough knowledge about how computers are made,what is the right and wrong
to do in using computer,on how to operate it before and after using it,in this way this will leads us to be a
better and responsible user.It is also important for us, know more about the history of computer, for us to
appreciate the efforts of our computer scientists who gave all their best just to give us the easiest way on
how we process all the kinds of documents and etc. that can be provided by

2. Describe the tools used in the early years computing

Sumerian abacus is the earliest known tool use in computation, it was invented in Babylon c. 2700-2300
BC. Its original style of usage by lines drawn in sand with pebbles. Abacus,of a more modern design, are
still used as a calculation tools today. This was the first known calculator and most advanced system of
calculation known to date - preceding Archimedes by 2,000 years.

3. In your own words, describe how computers have developed through the generations.

In every generations of computer refers to the changes made over the time.Earlier,computer used to be a
big machine with a lot of heavy wiring ,whereas nowadays,a computer can be carried in
hands.Initially,the changes made were limited to those made in hardware and software developments.It is
way more easier for us to use technology nowadays,faster and not time

4. What is the most significant tool that was invented in the early years of computing?

Abacus is one of the earliest and most well-known devices.This divide into two,the other one is small
while the other one is big.This was a manual calculating device invented to count large numbers.This can
be used by moving the beads according to certain rules.This helps to teach young children how to
count.Its frames divides two parts,the upper part call heaven, and the bottom part is called

5. In your own words, how can computers be used as tools in fighting criminals?

This can be used in many databases systems that deals with the profiling of criminals. Through computers
we can provide all the information needed for filing a case to the criminals.This can deals with DNA
testing,hot-spot analysis and etc. in this way the database can be transferred much faster between states
