I. TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY : Budgeting / Unpacking MELC


II. LOCATION and DATE : Pitogo Elementary School /March 7-8, 2023
III. SUMMARY:
In accordance with the directive of the office announce that no face to face classes shall be held, the
distance learning delivery modalities shall be implemented this school year 2022-2023.
Amidst this pandemic the Department of Education still push through with providing continuity of
education to all learners while abiding health protocols and adapting to the challenges brought about the
Covid 19. Thus, the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) was introduced and adapted by all
public schools.
This serves as a primary reference of the school in determining and implementing learning delivery
modalities that are suited to the local context and diversity of learners.
Pitogo Elementary School are advised to utilized the MELCs in creating learning activity sheets, self-
modules and other instructional materials, enable teachers to focus instruction to the most essential
competencies that all learners must acquire, thus, developing them into life-long learners. It helps us to target
the different concepts such as content knowledge, reasoning and cognitive areas, and skill performance of the
student. By unpacking, it shows teachers how students learn and discover through this learning process.
Combining them is a great help for the teachers to target common goals within the competencies. We budget
the lesson on MELCS to help us organize learning activities and effectively address the varying needs of
learners and the challenges of instructional deliveries. It is useful to teachers.
So, teachers of Pitogo Elementary School well orientated and sub tasked / budgeted the lesson on
MELCs based for the whole year, enable to guide that causes to lighten the burden of learners in acquiring
knowledge, understanding, skills, and attitudes that they need to demonstrate in every lesson.

IV. ACTUAL RESULT:


Cooperativeness has been linked to greater learning, emotional maturity and strong personal identity.
Teachers often become more flexible in their thinking and willingness to invent creative solutions. The result
is enjoyment, personal confidence and a feeling of self-worth.

V. LESSONS LEARNED:
We always think the welfare of the pupils.
Continuous learning for the pupils.

VI. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED:


1. Not finished on time.
2. Interruption of some additional reports

VII. SUSTAINABILITY:
Continuously working together will be a very big help in achieving something.
