Narrator: Good day, DJ Yesh and DJ Uno! I am filled with gratitude and appreciation fo
this opportunity to share our cherished moments with the person that I dedic
this story with. This is a love story between two different nationalities with tw
different cultures and religions that was made possible by the use of the Eng
language.

Narrator I could not help but feel nervous as it is our first week again, Dj Yesh & Uno.
then went to the library where I met him for the very first time.
Narrator As he was studying, his friend Cairo came and spotted him and went to his ta
to finish the plates.

Cairo *grabs chair* Hey girl! I didn’t expect to see you here. Oh! Right, this is my partner
the semester, Zhang Yi Qian. Dwy this is Qian, and Qian this is Dwy.

Qian Hello Nate, nice to meet you.

Oh hi…(awkwardly)

Cairo OH GOSH I FORGOT TO GRAB MY SCALE RULER! Qian can I leave you here fo

Qian It’s alright, take your time.

Narrator Time went by and silence filled up the room,

Dwy Um hey… uh

Narrator The bell rang and the three of us went to our separate blocks. Dwy felt a weir
feeling because of the kindness Qian showed him. On their way home, Nate
asked Cairo lots of questions.

Dwy Sooo this Qian guy… How did you two meet?

Cairo Oh I asked for his number in the first semester because he looks cute and he turne
out pretty smart and kind too so it was a win-win situation!
Dwy Ohh..You like him, huh?

Cairo HUH? AM I THAT OBVIOUS?

Dwy No, no, you’re good (he said while giggling)

Cairo Then how did you know?

Dwy Girl, I’ve known you since you were a baby, do you really think you can hide it from
me?

Cairo I guess you have a point… THEN! Can you.. maybe..help me get closer to him?

Narrator Dwy felt a stabbing pain in his heart. He didn’t understand why he was feelin
this way. Dwy chose to brush off the feelings he felt and accepted his best
friend’s request. Because why wouldn’t he help his best friend! Right?

Dwy Of course, girl! I got you.

Narrator Time went by and Nathan studied and practiced English so he could
communicate better with Qian, then he surprisingly became very fluent at it.
They coincidentally met in the arcade where Qian was spending his time.

SCENE 3: INTERACTION (NARRATION)

Narrator Dwy and Cairo both decided to go to arcade after class to unwind and have
some fun SFX; surround sound; arcade setting

Narrator As Dwy turned around, he couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia. He
suddenly recalls again the moment where they met at the library, he was thin
about the emotion he felt whenever they were talking.

Narrator And oh! Speaking of the devil, Dwy met Qian again

Dwy “Qian! I did not expect to see you here, I thought you’ll be in the library or somewhe
more quiet.”

Cairo Hello Qian

Qian It’s you again Mr.-trembling-Filipino-guy in the library!..... Dwy, right? I just came he
to pass by… and hello to you Cairo.
Dwy Yeah, she’s the girl-

Cairo *Grabs Dwy and whispered* (Be quiet!) Yeah, I was your partner on that project las
time.

Dwy Then.. Do you want to join us, Qian?

Qian Alright, I don’t really have anything to do, is that okay with you cairo?

Cairo Of course!

Narrator The three of them strolled around together, Nathan thought it was the perfect
opportunity to ask Qian about his Ideal type.

Dwy Qian, can I ask you a personal question?

Qian Yeah, sure, what is it?

Dwy What’s your ideal girl?

Qian Girl huh? Well if we’re talking about preferences, I guess I want to be with someon
who understands me and someone who won't abandon me even through hard time

Dwy Wow, your type is pretty simple! I know someone who is REAALLLY understanding
and would stick to you through thick and thin!

Qian And who is that?

Narrator: As Dwy looks at both Qian and Cairo having fun, he can't help but feel a
stabbing pain in his chest.

Dwy *inner thoughts* huh? What was that? It happened again…..Why am I feeling this

Cairo Cairo: *clap* EARTH TO DWY! Qian suggested moving to a cafe.

Dwy Cafe?

Qian Yeah it’s super close here! It’s just one street away.

Dwy I think you should go first, I just remembered I have something else to do!

peculiar scene raised my suspicions, and this leads me to a conclusion th

and talk to him about it.

Narrator: Days went by, and Dwy kept his distance, DJ Yesh and DJ Uno. I couldn't figu
out what had caused his sudden withdrawal. All I could feel was his absence
space beside me yearning to be filled. Little did I know, another presence wo
spark the conversation I had been desperately longing for with Dwy.
 It was unexpected, like most of life's surprises. That day, I hoped for a chanc
encounter or a fleeting glance from Dwy, but fate had a different plan.

Dwy: *walks to the elevator*

SFX: *chattering* *hushed voices*

Chismosa #1: Do you know Qian?

Chismosa #2: That good-looking guy from the engineering department?

Chismosa #1: Yep! That's him.

accidentally bumped into Cairo.

Cairo: Where were you??? I was trying to find you all over the school!

Dwy: Why do you always overreact? I was just wandering around since its break time.

Cairo: Whatever. Have you already heard the news??? Qian’s fiance will be transferring h
in our school and she’s gonna to arrive later.

I watch how his eyes twinkled at the rain with his tears goin on. His eyes say other
than his words. He does not want this to end, Nor do I.
