Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach

Astrology has been compared to the eye, netra, in the shastras. It’s a direction giver.
When one is bewildered, confused, and experiencing darkness everywhere, when one sees light,
it gives one a lot of hope, solace, and encouragement. Similarly, astrology is like that ray of light
on a dark night which gives us hope and direction to move forward in life. It helps us to see the
past, present, and future. It is the science that enlightens us and improves our lives. It says what
will be in our lives, and what we will not be in our lives. It also tells about what we will have, and
what we will not have in our life.
This research article mainly focuses on Ascendent in the birth chart. From Ascendant
(Lagna) We can derive all the results, and establish an integrated approach through Ascendant.
The next part of the paper is on getting the results from the spiritual practices of an Astrologer.
