Dear Parent of Guardian of: Rosalia Grande-Ramos
We review student’s work throughout the year to decide if they are on track to learning the
literacy and math skills they need to succeed in the next grade level.
Upon review of your child’s progress, we believe your child is not yet performing at the level
they need to be promoted to the next grade in June 2022. It is possible your child will remain in
the same grade for the next school year (2022-2023).
In order for promotion to be considered your child will be mandated for summer school. The
only summer school available is the DOE Rising Program:
You will be responsible for registering your child, as well as provide the school with a report
card at the end of summer school in order for promotion to be considered.

K-8 Grades
July 5- August 19
8:00AM – 3:00PM

Your child will also need to be evaluated to be considered eligible for promotion.

We encourage you to speak to your child’s teacher about ways to support their academic
progress.
