Zakat is an imortant instituation and is mentioned
multiple times in the Holy Quran and Hadith. A form
of obilgatory charity is Zakat. Zakat purifies ones
spirit and wealth. When we each contribute our due
wealth towards Zakat, tremendous good can be done
for society. An example of Almightys mercy on us is
he has put the most mininum burden of monetary
obligation on muslims so that paying Zakat becomes
conveinent for every sahib-un-nisaab muslim.
