Equivalent OEM: HTS Units Tested: Equivalent MN: HTS-90 (Replaces LX-3) Various Equivalent PN: 2900-00090-000 Manual Figure: Description of Operation: The ASI-90 Transponder Test Panel is designed to provide a means to test a variety of standard ATC transponders. ‘The commands necessary for coding the transponder are controlled by a microprocessor interface system. Mode settings and code selections are set by front panel switches and displayed on a backlit LCD display for easy viewing. Parallel BCD, ARINC 429, and Collins Pro Line ll CSDB are the control methods used, supporting virtually all transponder systems. ‘The general nature of this Test Panel allows it to test a large variety of units; as a result ofthis, some interpolation of the Test Panel functions may be necessary to follow the manufacturer's test procedure. The AS|-90 will replace the Linaire LX-3 Transponder Test Panel and run all existing LX-3 test interconnect cables. Optional test cables available from ASI are listed below.
