Lam directed to inform that protecting data from unauthorized access and from the destructive forces is the prime objective of Government of Pakistan. NADRA is tendering its services to general public in collaboration with Provincial Local Government for the registration and issuance of Vital Events certificates, countrywide. Although, NADRA is taking appropriate measures to ensure that personal data of citizens’ of Pakistan is accessible to whom it concerns and will take every step to protect it. PLG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa legitimate users have the rights to process the individual's personal information and cannot disclose to outsider voluntarily or involuntarily. 2. It is matter of grave concem that UC’s secretaries are inserting CNICs in multiple fields of different events and search the information of individuals without knowing its consequences. Sharing of data, information and application provided by NADRA with any irrelevant entity is prohibited and against the spirit of agreement / secrecy of data. It is pertinent to mention here that Users’ Log is being maintained at NADRA end to determine which user accessed the citizens’ record. Data leakage of any individual may lead to unforeseen situation for the personnel who accessed the data 3. Furthermore, Provincial Local Governments offices are processing the registration / issuance of Vital Events certificates after working hours and particularly on Holidays. Prevailing security situations and other circumstances warrant that the processing of Vital Events cannot be carried out after working hours and on holidays. 4, Forgoing in view, it is decided that Online Web Based Application will only be available during office working hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) for processing of Vital Events Certificates and it will not be available after working hours and on holidays including Sunday.
