Important on entry:

A negative COVID-19 tes t is required.

- All travelers require a negative nucleic acid amplification tes t, for example by PCR method, or a negative antigen tes t for entry into Portugal.
- The PCR tes t mus t not be older than 72 hours and the antigen tes t not older than 24 hours at departure.
- The digital COVID certificate of the EU is accepted.
- Children under 12 years of age are exempt from the tes ting requirement. Upon arrival, health checks mus t be expected. There may als o be COVID tes ts .

Azores
- Travelers to the Azores mus t s ubmit a health declaration. The form mus t be completed online 72 hours prior to entry: https ://mys afeazores .com/.

- The form does not need to be filled out by travelers who are holders of an EU COVID Digital Certificate.
- For entries to the Azores , travelers mus t have a negative PCR tes t, not older than 72 hours , or a negative antigen tes t, not older than 24 hours .
- The tes t res ult mus t be uploaded for validation after completing the ques tionnaire.
- Travelers entering from the mainland or Madeira can als o be tes ted upon arrival and wait for the res ult in s elf-is olation. However, this option is not
available for international entries .
- Travelers who wis h to travel to the Azores after a previous s tay on the mainland can already be tes ted for COVID-19 free of charge on the mainland. For

Due to the increas ing number of infections with the res piratory dis eas e COVID-19, increas ed health checks and longer waiting times during travel mus t
currently be expected. Due to cas es of illnes s in almos t all countries of the world, there is a general ris k of infection via droplet infection. Travellers s hould
