"Me Before You" is a film based on the novel of the same name by Jojo Moyes, which tells
the love story between Louisa Clark and William Traynor.

Louisa Clark, a 26-year-old woman, loses her job at a coffee shop and is forced to look for a
new job to support her family. She gets a job as a caregiver for a disabled young man.

William Traynor, a millionaire businessman, becomes a quadriplegic after being hit by a

motorcycle. Before the accident, Will was an adventurous and independent man, but after
the accident, his mood became fickle and short-tempered.
The relationship between Louisa and Will gets off to a rocky start due to Will's sullen
personality. However, Louisa, with her vivacious and outgoing personality, manages to
establish a connection with him. Throughout the film, Louisa discovers that Will plans to
travel to Switzerland to be euthanized.

Despite the challenges, Louisa strives to show Will that life is still worth living, leading both
characters to experience significant personal growth. The film is a reflection on love, life and
how these two things can change our destiny.
