Chapter 6

Socio-Economic Feasibility

This chapter consists of four parts: (1) Contribution to the

Community, (2) Contribution to the Employees, (3) Contribution to the

Government, and (4) Contribution to the Beneficiaries. Part One,

Contribution to the Community, describes the social, economic and

environmental concerns of the business to reduce environmental damage

and improve social and economic welfare of the community. Part Two,

Contribution to the Employees, describes the direct and incidental

contributions of the business to the personal, professional, family

and economic welfare of the employees. Part Three, Contribution to the

Government, describes the benefits that the government can derive from

the business. Part Four, Contribution to the Beneficiaries, describes

the direct and incidental contributions of the business to other

beneficiaries.

Contribution to the Community

The proposed project is viewed to contribute in the community by

providing employment for the people in the province of Aklan. It will

increase the income and salaries of the locals by providing job

opportunities to them. It will also help the family of the residents

by providing enough care for their elderly family members

Contribution to the Employees

The proposed project will create employment and give benefits to

the employees. Having a regular work will boost the employee’s self-
esteem and they will have income to provide for their personal and

family’s needs. It will have the commitment to help its employees

achieve their full potential and help them improve their attitude and

mindset towards work ethics and service excellence.

Contribution to the Government

Taxes are the lifeblood of the government and their prompts and

certain availability are an imperious need. A government cannot

continue to exist and operate without financial means, by this,

proposed project will be helpful in the government by paying its

proper income tax and other related taxes pertinent to the project’s

operation. It can also help to lessen the government’s problem,

related to unemployment due to the given employment opportunities.
