DIANA'S LIFE

AND LEGACY
Princess Diana, born Diana Frances Spencer,
was a member of the British royal family. She
was born in 1961 in Sandringham, England,
and grew up in a noble family. In 1981, she
married Prince Charles, the heir to the British
throne, in a highly publicized wedding
ceremony.

Diana quickly became a beloved figure,


known for her charitable work and her
empathetic nature. She devoted much of
her time to humanitarian causes, particularly
those involving children and those affected
by HIV/AIDS. She also helped to raise
awareness about landmines and worked to
eliminate them from war-torn countries.

Despite her popularity, Diana's marriage to


Charles was troubled and eventually ended
in divorce in 1996. Tragically, Diana's life
was cut short in 1997 when she died in a car
accident in Paris.
