 Provide Drip pan under the flange
 Do not operate Gate valves. Coordinate to UPPI personnel regarding the activity

 Ensure socket is correctly fitted over nut
 Use proper spanner

 Check the socket and other wrenches for any cracks before use
 Replace hand tools if defects found
 Gas detector “on” to continuous gas monitoring for flammable gas
 Avoid hammering of metal to metal

