STUDYING – WORKING

I am a junior pursuing a degree in Learning and Teaching methods in the

English Department, which is a popular major at my university and I am
currently employed part-time in an English center.
Position: I take responsibility for making lesson plans for teachers, checking the
homework for students and interacting with their parents
More: I’ve worked here for 2 years
There are two main reasons for me to choose this job/ major to study or work.
Firstly, learning/ working in English or Language research has always been one
of my career goals when approaching a huge number of language and teaching
methodologies. Moreover, there are a lot of opportunities for professional
improvement and well-paid jobs in Vietnam when working in language teaching
like English or Chinese
Definitely yes, learning in this major, I need to work as a part of group, which
fosters my professional knowledge and soft skills like communication or
problem-solving. Additionally, thanks to the high frequency of English
conversation, I get to keep better at my English when meeting a lot of foreign
people.
