PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Select File > New to open a new layer.

STEP 2: Open an image using File > Open

STEP 3: Choose File > Automate > Picture Package.

STEP 4: In the Source Images area of the Picture Package dialog box, choose either File

or Folder from the Use menu and click Browse.

STEP 5: In the Document area of the Picture Package dialog box, select page size,

layout, resolution, and color mode. A thumbnail of the chosen layout appears

on the right side of the dialog box.

STEP 6: In the Label area, choose the source for label text from the Content menu or

choose None. If you choose Custom Text, enter the text for the label in the

Custom Text field.

STEP 7: Specify the font, font size, color, opacity, position, and rotation for the labels.

STEP 8: Click OK.

PROCEDURE:

Ctrl+J.

AIM:

To design an image by applying Rainbow Effect using Photoshop.

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1: Go to Start>Programs>Adobe Photoshop 7.0

STEP 2: Select File > New to open a new layer.

STEP 3: Select the layer properties and save the layer.

STEP 4: Open an image using File > Open

STEP 5: Add a new blank layer named "Layer 1" above the Background layer.

Double- click directly on the name of the layer and change it to "Rainbow"

STEP 6: Select the Gradient Tool from the Tools panel

STEP 7: Click on the Gradient Picker in the Options Bar at the top of the screen.

Click on the right-pointing arrow in the top right of the Gradient Editor.

Select the "Special Effects" gradients. Click "Append" to add the new "Special

Effects" gradients in with the original gradients.

STEP 8: Click on the "Russell's Rainbow" thumbnail to select the gradient.

STEP 9: Select "Radial" from the Options Bar.

STEP 10: Dragging out a radial rainbow gradient from right to left in the image.

STEP 11: Photoshop draws the gradient when you release your mouse button.

STEP 11: Change the blend mode of the rainbow layer to Screen.

STEP12: The rainbow after changing its blend mode to Screen. Go to Filter > Blur >
Gaussian Blur. Drag the Radius slider to soften the color transitions in the
rainbow.
STEP 13: Now the rainbow now looks more realistic after applying the Gaussian Blur
filter.

AIM:

To design an image by applying the Rain Effect using Photoshop.

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1: Go to Start>Programs>Adobe Photoshop 7.0

STEP 2: Select File > New to open a new layer.

STEP 3: Select the layer properties and save the layer.

STEP 4: Open an image using File > Open

STEP 5: Add a new blank layer named "Layer 1" above the Background layer.

Double-click directly on the name of the layer and change it to "Rain"

STEP 6: Go to Edit > Fill. In the Fill dialog box, change the Contents to Black, and

then click OK:

STEP 7: Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Set the Amount value to 25% and

choose Gaussian for the distribution

STEP 8: Going to Edit > Transform > Scale. In the Options Bar, Increase the Width

and Height to 400%. Then click the checkmark in the Options Bar to accept it:

STEP 9: Change the blend mode of the Layer Rain from Normal to Screen:

STEP 10: Going to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. angle to 65°. set the distance to 75

pixels and click ok.

STEP 11: Now the effect is applied to the background image.

STEP 12: Go to jump to image ready.

STEP 13: Go to windows and select Animation, Action.

STEP 14: Finally the rain effect applied the image.

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1: Go to Start>Programs>Adobe Photoshop 7.0

STEP 4: Open an image using File > Open

STEP 5: Move the image using the Move Tool and place it on the top of the layer.

STEP 6: Open the same image again. Rotate picture2 (ctrl+T; free transform) and

transform it horizontally (image>rotate canvas>flip canvas horizontally)

STEP 7: Select picture2 and go to Filter on your menu bar> distort >ocean ripple,

and press ok.

STEP 9: To apply the light effect go to the top menu bar, and choose Filter> Render>

Lighting Effects. Under Lighting Effects on Style select, Soft Omni>OK.

AIM:
To Apply Text Effects using Coral Draw.
PROCEDURE:
1. EXTRUDE AND CONTOUR EFFECT
STEP 1: Start->All Programs-> CorelDRAW X3

STEP 2: Select File->New. Set Paper Size, Height and Width, and other properties

and Save.

STEP 3: Select the Shape tool or Type tool to Draw any shape or Type any text.

STEP 4: Choose Window > Dockers > Effects > Extrude (or) Select Interactive

Tool>Interactive Extrude Tool.

STEP 5: Select the object or Text using the Pick tool and drag the object canter to

any (X) direction. Click anywhere on the object again, and drag it in the

direction of the extrusion.

STEP 6: The Extrude effect is applied to the shape or Text.

STEP 7: Choose Effects > Contour (or) Select Interactive Tool>Interactive

Contour Tool.

STEP 8: Click on the selected object and drag it outside or inside of the object with

the Contour tool.

STEP 7: Pick the object and click on any of the Contour Type buttons on the

Property bar.

STEP 7: The Contour effect is applied to the shape or Text.

node and change the Text color, shape, Font, and outline based on the
requirement.
STEP 4: The Artistic effect is applied to the Text.

3. PERSPECTIVE EFFECT

STEP 1: Select the Type tool to Type any text.

STEP 2: Choose Effects> Add Perspective. Press Ctrl, Drag the nodes on the

outside of The grid to apply.

STEP 3: The Perspective effect is applied to the Text.

4. POWERCLIP EFFECT

STEP 1: Draw any Shape using Shape Tool.

STEP 2: Import an Image using File>Import.

STEP 3: Select the shape using the Pick tool and do Effects>Powerclip>Place

Inside Container

STEP 4: Click with the arrow on the stocking and the Image will be clipped

inside the stocking shape.

STEP 5: Go to Effects > PowerClip > Edit Contents to Edit a PowerClip Object.

STEP 6: Go to Effects > PowerClip > Extract Contents to Extract a PowerClip

Object

STEP 7: The Powerclip effect is applied inside the shape.

AIM:
To design a CD using Coral Draw.
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All Programs->CorelDRAW X3
STEP 2: Select File->New. Set Paper Size, Height and Width, and other properties
And save.
STEP 3: Fill the gradient color in Ellipse by using Fountain Fill Tool and remove the

outline of Ellipse.

STEP 4: Create two new Ellipses first size is 11.5cm*11.5cm and the second is

2.00cm*2.00 cm select all Ellipse (Ctrl+A) and go to the Arrange menu

select Align and Distribute option for Ellipse alignment.

STEP 5: Go to the File menu, select the import option and insert a colourful abstract

background JPEG image.

STEP 6: After importing the image select this image and go to Effect

menu>Powerclip>Place inside the container and click 11.5cm Ellipse.

STEP 7: Add text using Text Tool type the required text and color it. Select the text

Using the Pick tool then choose Text>Fit Text To Path.

STEP 8: Remove the 11.5 cm, 2cm Ellipse outline and fill color in 2.00 cm Ellipse.

STEP 9: Finally, the CD cover design is ready for print.

1. PAGE CURL EFFECT

STEP 3: Import an image using File>Import and place it on the clipboard.
STEP 4: Choose Bitmap > Convert to Bitmap.

STEP 7: The Page Curl effect is applied to the image.

2.PARTICLES EFFECT

STEP 3: Adjust the Size, Density, coloration, and Transparency values.

STEP 4: The Particles effect is applied to the image.

PROCEDURE:
1. PAGE CURL EFFECT
STEP 1: Start->All Programs->CorelDraw X3

STEP 2: Select File->New. Set Paper Size, Height=10 Inches and Width=15 Inches,

Resolution=300 dpi, Mode=Portrait, and Save.

STEP 3: Draw a Rectangle using Rectangle Tool and set its size as width=7 Inches

and Height =10 Inches. Go to Edit>Duplicate. Copy the Rectangle and Place.

STEP 4: Draw another Rectangle and set its size as width=1 Inches and

Height =10 Inches. Go Arrange>Align and Distribute>Centre To Page.

STEP 5: Select All Three Rectangles and do Arrange>Lock Object.
