The question of whether or not schoolchildren should receive homework is one that divides

opinion. However, there are compelling arguments against assigning homework, I think it's
not really crucial in our education.
There are a number of arguments in favor of the claim that children shouldn't have to do
homework. First of all, the claim that homework has no positive impact on academic
performance is supported by data. Nations without homework policies, like Finland,
consistently rank at the top of international educational league tables and outperform those
where homework is the norm. Second, most parents concur that the school day is already
excessively long and exhausts their kids, making it impossible for them to study more after
they get home. In the end, it is acknowledged that playtime is equally advantageous to brain
development as study time.
In conclusion, homework certainly outweighs the benefits in the long term. But I believe that
it’s not really necessary for students nowaday.
