 What are the social problem that leads to social change in Nigeria.

Answer

 Both historically ,and recently, Nigeria has faced a dance of social problem of which
most of it led to total change in the life of the state.

One of the social problems which cause a serious change is the issue of poverty

 Poverty has been a major social problems . Nigeria had face and led seriously to
change in the country , historically, Poverty has been caused by variety of factors
including economy in equality, poor governance and corruption. It has led to a
number of social changes such as increase crimes, political unrest and a decline in
education, health care and more.

Another significant socials problems of which doesn’t lead to only social change but also
leads to both social and economy change is the issue of unemployment. High rate of
unemployment have been a major challenge for many years and mostly led to social unrest
and crime. The Historical course of unemployment in Nigeria include the decline of the
agricultural sector, the manufacturing sector and more. This also have negative impact on
country’s economy.

A non-less mentioned problem that has a serious impact in Nigeria is the issue of
ethnic conflict through Nigeria is a diverse country which a variety ethnic groups and these
groups have often been in conflict with each other. The cause of these conflict in Nigeria
Include the legacy of colonialism, the universe distribution of resources and the lack of
colonialism and the lack of effective government. These conflicts have led to a numbers of
change including violence, displacements and economic instability.

Gender inequality showed a really longstanding in Nigeria with woman facing


discriminating in variety areas including education employment and political representation.
Women has marginalized and exclude from decision making processes and they have often
be subject to violence and abuse. The struggle of gender equality has led to significant social
change. Including rise of a women’s right movement and the passage of laws to protect
women’s right.

Next, up is the issue of religious conflict with a significant Muslim and Christian
population. Religion conflict has been a major social problem in the country, with tension
often flaming up between the two groups. The root cause of religious conflict in Nigeria
includes the legacy of colonialism and politicalization of religion. This conflict led to
violence, including bombing, not and attacks on place of worship.

In conclusion the social problems that have both recently and historically led to social
change in Nigeria including poverty, unemployment, gender inequality, ethnic conflict and
religious conflict and more. This problem have had a profoundly impact on the country
leading to violence, displacement and economic insatiability. However, Nigeria citizen have
also show resilience and determination in their efforts to address these problems and there
are signs of progress and hope for the future.
