EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The need of leaving requires that the learners be oriented to all aspect possible to the normal
working condition .this has provided two dimension aspect that involve classroom work and
industrial application of the classwork .this document therefore provides a documentations of the
activities accomplished during the industrial attachment of water and sanitation .the objective of
the attachment was to able me as an attach to:
Gain hand on skill on electrical wiring system components.
Learn and appreciate practical what takes in normal working environment.
Examine various roles and responsibilities of various players in an organization.
In to appreciate the need of teamwork, as an attach I was not only the student on attachment at
the organization but also were other students who attached from various institutions and
therefore teamwork was highly encouraged .this institution has various staff in the electrical
section .this attachment lasted for three months.
During this period I was able to learn & accomplish the following task and responsibilities.
Electrical wiring and maintenance under which I carried out the installation of electrical wiring

CHAPTER TWO
LITERATURE REVIEW
Information transfer within the organization.
Information transfer within the organization is down in an upward and downward manner
through all available protocol within the within the directorate which is done in turn with the
consent of electrical directorate.
Single phase motor has a capacitor while three phase does not have capacitor.
Each and every machine in the organization in all the departments where the machines are
allocated are maintained daily to ensure that service offered in the ministry and the staff and
consumers enjoy them
The following method were use in the requirement elicitation and analysis process.
Questionnaires
A set of structured questions were designed and sent to various university departments to find
out from the lab i.e. to collect exactly what they felt and/or think should be contained in the
proposed system.
Interview
Interviews were also used to seek audience with the various department heads, administrator and
some students if they were ready for the new system and the requirement were documented.
Observations
The designer also carried out a well –organized observation see and register various challenges
students and lectures face while looking for lab items in the stories

CHAPTER THREE:
3.3 Replacing All Dis Functioning Parts Of The Machine And Equipment.
All parts with fault are replaced with new parts to enhance the proper functioning of the machine
and thus improving the performance of equipment and machine mostly used in all the department
.this ensure that every department is working properly.
PROBLEMS
As a attaches in the company I underwent some problems namely;
Limited Communication
Road Travelling
“US” versus “them” mentality
Dynamic work environment
Physical activities
SOLUTIONS
The company should provide regular feedback.
The company’s director needs to have a talk with his employees. Review their
performance and hear how they are doing.
The company director should provide the right mapping for the site to be worked on.
CHAPTER FOUR
CONCLUSION
The attaché was attached in the electrical department office section. This is a new section
because all electrical issues were handled by the DIRECTOR.I enjoyed my attachment because
of a good relationship I upheld with the other employees.
During my stay in the office and maintain department of electrical department in learnt that
developers need internet services all the time considering that the attaches was doing updates and
developing the website that entirely depended on the internet.
RECOMMENDATION
The attaches recommends improving the internet connection package.
The attaches also recommend any student who want to gain real life practical experience in the
field of Electrical engineering to Central Electrical International Limited.
