 COURSE DESCRIPTION

 This course aims to give both basic and enhanced

knowledge regarding financial assets; firm, industry and
economic analysis; stock and bond valuation; and
technical analysis.
 At the end of the course, students are expected to
familiarize themselves with investment activities.
 COURSE OUTLINE

 Chapter 1: Overview
 Chapter 2: Stock investment
 Chapter 3: Bond investment
 Chapter 4: Derivative securities and other types of
investment

philosophy, you choose a firm to invest.
 Then:
 Analyze the economics and the industry.
 Analyze and evaluate the company.

 Conduct technical analysis.

 Format: professional (as reports of securities firms)
 Deadline: Day 6th 22:00

 Number of pages:
 FA: less than or equal to 40 pages
 TA: no requirement

 Submit: word, excel, ppt

 Time for presentation: 30 – 35 minutes

 Time for review: 10 minutes
