The Age of Adaline is a science fiction that involves immortality.

A young woman who met with

an accident and was struck by lightning suddenly magically stopped aging. Adaline is a young

woman that had a normal life and suddenly met an accident that caused her to stop aging. In that

case Adaline decided to run and change her identity to avoid being a lab-rat. This movie is not

just a science fiction but a romance too. There is a line in the movie that gets stuck in my mind

when her daughter Fleming asks her “don’t you miss having someone to love”, Adaline replies

“it’s not the same when there is no growing old together. Without that love it’s just heartbreak.”

Immortality is not a blessing; it is a curse, and the charm of loving someone is seeing the love

through to the very end, this dialogue pretty much sums up the story. In connection with the

course care of the older adult, care of older adults is explaining and teaching us students to know

why we must care for the older and in the discussion all of us are going to grow old our body

will get old when the time passbay. Everyone will age but it varies from person to person. In

every end of chromosomes there is telomere, the length of a telomere shortened over time. It can

be shortened because of our lifestyle or even because of genetic diseases. Aging can't stop but in

Adaline's case she stops aging when she meets with an accident and the impact of it in her life is

drastic. We must remember that in real life aging can't stop until we are dead, we must know that

caring for everybody is important either its geria or pedia.
