Identify 5 major finance problems in your organization/school. discuss your solution in your point
of view.

Not only strong leaders create a better environment but they also create measurable outcomes
to create improvement however The following are the 5 Major Problems I have Observed in our
school.

1. No water supply- lack of clean water has a serious effect on students. Due to this
problem it can cause even the best student to lose momentum as they deal with
stomach pains and diarrhea. availability of clean water is necessary in school for to
avoid serious diseases such as diarrhea and other water borne illness. I think one of the
solution to this dilemma is to propose an action plan addressing this scarcity to the
school head so that for the next quarter this water installation will be funded.

2. Unavailability of Materials/supplies- Due to this lacking of supplies it causes extreme

distress on the student and teachers. Due to this circumstances Not only student and
teachers but they are unable to learn to their fullest potential because they are not being
given the proper resources.one of the solution that we did was during our meeting we
raise this problem of insufficient supplies to our school head and hoping next quarter will
be given an action.

3. Lack of Learning Resources- lack of books and other resources is one of the problem
that I observed from my station and it is very alarming because Limited resources can
lead to declining enrolment , and lower performance in subjects. It also result in lower
test scores and increased stress levels among students. One of the solution that I did
was I immediately speak my school head on that matter and asked her to make a
request letter for an additional book from district but unfortunately books aren’t available
that time. Then I went to the different schools and borrowed 5 books each subject and
now we already have this learning material though its limited.
4. Unfunded school activities & trainings- this also included in the major finance
problem in our school since, due to this unfunded school activities coordinatos/ teachers
eventually suffer from this dilemma. How can we able to implement this activities without
any support from our school head. I believed that leaders should guide her members.
the success of a school depends on how the manager manage the institution. One of the
solution to this problem is every activity must be funded by MOOE. Example: Scouting,
athletic meet and other trainings and seminars to be attended by the teacher.

5. Insufficient budget for classroom repair and school beautification – another

problem in our school is insufficient budget for repair we have some buildings that needs
an urgent minor repair. I believed that students can focus better, and we teachers enjoy
to work more if we have a conducive and friendly environment but unfortunately we
cannot take everything from MOOE since its limited. One best solution to this problem is
to propose a fund raising event addressing for the school building improvement and
infrastructure.
