General Information
This manual contains important safety, installation and operating instructions for the unit. Read
this manual thoroughly and completely, and retain for future reference. Bin Lifters can cause
serious injury to personnel or damage to property if used incorrectly, therefore do not use this
machine for any other purpose apart from its intended use. Using Bin Lifters incorrectly may void
warranty.
Any damage audible or visible to the Niftylift Bin Lifter should be addressed at the time of
discovery. Electrodrive Pty Ltd can provide parts and service support on request through its service
partner company, Serviced Equipment.

Introduction
The Niftylift is an assisted lift Bin Lifter rated to lift 120 and 240 litre bins weighing up to 30 kg.

Operating Instructions
Safety Check
Before using the Niftylift Bin Lifter, the operator should complete the following check:
 Ensure the unit has not been damaged in transit.
 Look for damage to the pallet and cuts and tears in the plastic wrapping.
Moving the Bin Lifter to the operating position

1. Wheel the Niftylift to the skip bin.
2. Position the Niftylift against the skip bin,
making sure the bulk bin hooks (3) are in
the forward position.
3. Lift the bulk bin hook up and over the lip of
the bulk bin and fasten securely.

The bulk bin interlock (1) will prevent the Niftylift from operating unless it is released by
attaching the bulk bin hook to the bulk bin
Place the wheelie bin into the unit

1. Wheel a wheelie bin to the cradle and locate it over the base cradle hook (7).
2. Push the bin forward to lock into the bin hooks (6).
3. Move to the side of the Bin Lifter and then remove the padlock on the cradle release
handle (4).

The Bin Lifter is now ready to lift the wheelie bin and empty its contents.
Lifting and lowering the bin cradle

1. Check area is clear and no obstructions exist around the unit.
2. Pull the red cradle release handle (4) towards the bulk bin with
your left hand.
3. With your right hand, begin to lift the bin cradle (5) using the
loop handle.
4. Once at eye level the bottom handle can be used to lift it till the
content of the bin emptied into the bulk bin.
5. When the bin is empty, pull the cradle all the way down until it
snaps into the final position.
6. You can now remove the bin, by pulling the bin release handle
(2) back toward you. The bin will release towards you.

8. Before leaving the unit replace the padlock and lock the unit.

Warranty
Electrodrive Pty Ltd warrants that this Bin Lifter is free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of twelve months from the date of dispatch from the Electrodrive plant at
10A Burwood Ave, North Sunshine Victoria.
If a defect is reported, Electrodrive will repair or replace the defective part, at its own discretion.
This warranty does not apply if this Bin Lifter has been misused, damaged, or modified in any way.
Please be aware that modifications and misuse will void your warranty.
Service Log
Service recommendations
To ensure your Bin Lifter is kept in a safe and reliable condition, it is important to maintain a
preventative maintenance program. Maintain a log of the service work on the cards following, and
always use an Approved Electrodrive Service Agent to conduct the works. The service personnel
will be provided with all necessary documents and components in service repair, including but not
limited to, circuit diagrams, component part lists, descriptions, service checklists and spare parts.
