IDENTIFICATION: The manufacturer’s name or registered trademark, or, in the case of private labeling, the name of the customer for whom the fixture
was manufactured, shall be permanently applied so as to be legible and visible after installation. The model number of each water closet,
or bowl and tank model numbers (in the case of close-coupled water closets) shall be applied on each component so as to be legible and
visible after installation. Each water closet shall be marked, identifying the water consumption of the fixture.

Each Gravity flush tank shall be permanently marked by the manufacturer with a water level mark, or with the information necessary to
determine the water level in the tank needed to deliver the intended flush volume. This mark shall be applied to the vitreous body in the
tank, the tank liner, or the flush-valve overflow tube. The vertical distance between the water level mark and the lowest point of the tank
overflow channel shall not exceed 38 mm.

Water closet tanks shall have a label indicating at least the following:
a) the telephone number of a service department from which end-users can obtain replacement
parts
b) the serial or part number of the flush valve seal; and
c) information on procuring replacement parts for maintaining the original flush volume.

Fittings shall bear permanent legible markings to identify the manufacturer, the trade name, registered trademark, or other
mark(s) known to identify the manufacturer. All packaging for vitreous plumbing fixtures and each fitting shall be marked identifying
its water consumption expressed in terms of liters per minute or liters per cycle or liters per flush.

IDENTIFICATION: Aerators used in the fittings shall bear permanent legible markings to identify the manufacturer, the trade name, registered
trademark, or other mark(s) known to identify the manufacturer. Each fitting and its packaging shall also be marked identifying its
water consumption expressed in terms of liters per flush or liters per cycle. All required markings shall be located where they can
be readily legible after installation is complete. Fittings and its packaging shall also bear the WEP-I Star rating certification mark.
CHARACTERISTICS: Fittings such as aerators shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for achieving water efficiency, and
these may be installed with bar, kitchen, lavatory metered/non-metered faucets, handheld spray heads and showerheads.
Sample products listed on this certificate were found compliant to Water Efficient Products – India (WEP-I) specification and
applicable sections of ASME A112.18.1-2018/CSA B125.1-18, IGBC Green Pro Rating Systems, LEED V4-2019 and
GRIHA compliance. Sample products were tested by an IAPMO India recognized laboratory that was found compliant to the
applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17025
