Looking at the definition of Whistle blowing,
Whistleblowing refers to the act of drawing public attention or the attention of an
authority figure, to perceived wrongdoing, misconduct, unethical activity within
public, private or third sector organizations.

A whistle blower is an employee, who reveals information about activities within a

private or public organization that is deemed illegal, immoral, illicit, unsafe or
fraudulent.
A whistleblower can bring allegations to light by communicating with external
entities such as the media, government or law enforcement. Whistleblowers report
internally to a supervisor human resources compliance or a neutral third party within
the company hoping the company would correct and address the issues.

Water treatment or purification is the process where water impurities such as

contaminants, inorganic compounds or bacteria are removed from the water, leaving
it in a purer state. It is important that impurities are removed and additional
contamination is managed affectively. Its importance includes the removal of
dissolved gases, particulates, bacteria and microorganisms found in water.
The water treatment facility is the control system opening and closing valves and
equipments in predefined sequences to complete specific tasks involving the
treatment of water.
The need for the recognition of whistle blowers in a water treatment facility is of high
importance because a whistle blower helps to identify all manner of illegal acts and
immoralities.
whistle blowers provide more detailed insight into issues occurring in the facility to
speed up a solution to problems occurring before getting out of hand.
The management might know there are some problems endangering treatment of
water in its facility but not an exact understanding of whats wrong. Internal reports
