Integrating CHAT GPT

GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer and as of January 2022 is in

it's third generation. GPT is an auto-regressive language model that uses deep
learning to produce human-like text.
Instruction to ChatGPT –
write a passage on pulley for Grade 3
ChatGPT
● A pulley is a simple machine that helps us lift heavy objects easily. It consists of a wheel with a groove around
the edge and a rope or cable that runs along the groove. By pulling on one end of the rope, we can lift the
object attached to the other end.
● Pulleys have been used for thousands of years to make work easier. For example, ancient Egyptians used
pulleys to lift heavy stones when they built pyramids. Today, we use pulleys in many different ways, such as to
lift weights in a gym, to hoist sails on a boat, and to raise and lower flags on a flagpole.
● Pulleys come in different sizes and shapes, and they can be used alone or together with other pulleys to create
a pulley system. A pulley system consists of multiple pulleys that work together to lift an object. The more
pulleys you add to the system, the easier it becomes to lift the object.
● Learning about pulleys can be fun and exciting for kids. You can make your own simple pulley at home using a
plastic wheel, string, and a heavy object. By experimenting with different pulley systems, you can learn how
they work and how they can make work easier.

A Few Ways we can use
Chat GPT in Our Classrooms
● Use it as a Launching Pad- Have students generate and
improve their writing
● Focus on the writing process instead of the final product, Using
Google Docs/ Word with track changes
● Simplify articles according to students’ reading levels
● Suggest activities for lessons
● Provide localized authentic project based learning scenarios –
anchor problem/ project in local context – GPT will be used as a
springboard

Virtual Reality [VR]
vs
Augmented Reality [AR}
Augmented reality is defined as
"an enhanced version of reality created by the use
of technology to add digital information on an image
of something.“

Virtual Reality is defined as "the use of computer

technology to create a simulated environment."
Virtual reality may be artificial, such as
an animated scene, or an actual place that has
been photographed and included in a virtual reality
app. With virtual reality, you can move around and
look in every direction -- up, down, sideways and
behind you, as if you were physically there.
