DANWATA RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH BENJAMIN V. BAUTISTA SR. MANPOWER ‘TRAINING CENTER IN MALITA, DAVAO DEL SUR. Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Malita, Davao del Sur in session assembled; WHEREAS, the Local Goverment of Malita is cognizant of the need to upgrade the economic level of its constituents through skills development for better employability or entrepreneurship; WHEREAS, — the manpower resources in the municipality of Malita if enhanced would be more than adequate to respond to the needs of the investment sector, WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Malita with its poverty alleviation program is capable of operating manpower training center with the support of SPAMAST, and TESDA; WHEREAS, the establishment of BENJAMIN V. BAUTISTA , SR. Manpower Training Center (BBS-MTC) will not only serve as a venue for skills training but will also serve as an Income Generating Program of the Local Government thereby augmenting the income of the Local Govemment to expand its services for economic development, WHEREAS, BENJAMIN V. BAUTISTA, SR. Manpower Training Center (BBS-MTC) will be operated by LGU-Malita in partnership with SPAMAST, a delivering institution in the municipality, accredited by TESDA, WHEREAS, BBS-MTC shall be operated by LGU-MALITA thru an organized Management Board to be headed by the Local Chief Executive or his authorized representative who will oversee the ‘Management of the whole center, and an appointed Center Director who will directly man the operation of BBS-MIC, NOW THEREFORE: Be it resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Malita, Davao del Sur to establish as it hereby establishes Benjamin V. Bautista Sr, Manpower Training Center in Malita, Davao del Sur. RESOLVED further that copies of this resolution be furnished to the office of the Municipal Mayor, TESDA, SPAMAST and other concerned agencies for their information, guidance and appropriate action. aADOPTED unanimously, this 9" day of August 2007 on motion of Hon.
