Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (New York, March 28, 1986), better known by her stage name
Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, dancer, actress, activist, and fashion
designer.[3] Born and raised In New York City, he studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart School
and grew up briefly at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, before dropping out to focus
on his musical career. This is how she burst into the rock scene on Manhattan's Lower East Side and
signed a contract with Streamline Records towards the end of 2007. At the time she was working as
a songwriter for that record company, her voice caught the attention of the artist Akon, who he
made her sign a contract with Kon Live Distribution.
